The road outside our school is speed humped and 20 limit. The Police have more than once been waiting near the end of the road with hair dryers checking all the speeds. Plonkers*. It's hard to do 20 in a higher gear than 2nd. * I say this as the serious crime clear-up rate continues to fall. For crying out loud, deploy them to solve real crime!

My speedo is spot-on with GPS speed (since I changed wheels/tyres a while ago). I cruise control at 75 on most motorways and sail past the cameras on the long M3 smart motorway stretch. I won't risk any faster. If the posted speed goes lower, so do I as they sync to the prevailing speed limit.

I want to watch it as it's based on Hugh Howey's Wool, which was a great read. However, it's on Apple TV+

Reminds me, at my previous school one student studying the book entitled her essay "How to Kill a Mockingbird". -
Where are Automatic Replies, signatures etc. now?

Our Ruckus system uses the vSZ virtual controller running in VMware. 110 APs all running well. We've also just introduced BYOD with Ruckus Cloudpath and that's working fine, too.

Has anyone else watched Marcella? I've now finished it and S3 was incredibly dark and disturbing - well, all of it but especially S3.

What words do you (or someone you know) say incorrectly...?

Umm, I still call it sequel. It's what I was taught to call it and it has stuck. I'm old, forgive me. -

Cars Aussies who call it Subah-ru instead of Subaru An ex gf who used to say Marcedes instead of Mercedes And, of course, Americans who have coups instead of coupes. -
The thing is, if your Task Sequence is wanting to join a machine to the domain (ours does), then the account will require some domain admin privileges.

We will be moving away, but its replacement is not yet decided. Looks like it'll be between Engage and Broadcom.

My EE phone got it bang on time, my partner's Three phone never got it.

So why, whenever I order an Americano at Costa (or, if I must, Starbucks) do they ask if I want milk with it, even when I've ordered it black?
-
I don't take milk in anything! Black Americano please, and lots of it.

Number 0 is my perfect cup of tea. Yuk!

If you haven't tried it yet, Marcella is one of the all-time best police murder hunt series, but be warned it's very dark. Anna Friel is outstanding in the title role.

My previous car was a Honda CR-Z, so rare that it doesn't appear in the How Many Left? site. My current car is a Subaru BRZ and that is quite rare, too, showing just 376 in the country.

Yes, I noticed that too.

It ended well, though. All those old characters together, even Tuvok!

BETT 2023 GIVEAWAY - What is your earliest gaming memory?
MartinT replied to VeryPC's topic in Our Advertisers
I don't think anyone has stated an earlier year than me -
I did find the Elizabeth Line made my travel from Basingstoke very much easier, and with just two trains. Surreal having started at Reading going through the centre of London and out the other end. Definitely the way I shall go in the future. The exhibition was a little flat and the crowds were down, which suited me fine. I had very good technical talks with Ruckus, Smoothwall and Lenovo. I didn't book any Connect meetings as I wanted to choose who I spoke to. I hope stand vendors take this in: I want to speak with people who know the products, not with time wasters who look vacant the moment I mention a product by name. There is no point having such people on your stand, they do you a disservice. Sorry I didn't pop in at the ANME stand, I didn't even see it! I was irritated at the number of e-mails about booking meetings and not missing deadlines. Spam has reached a new high with BETT and I shall use a disposable e-mail address in future as they appear to sell our details to just anyone. There is still not enough seating in the central area at peak times, just when I wanted to grab a coffee and a break. I was there for over 4 hours and that was plenty enough. It was a long way home.
