  1. So did I. Isn't the aerial imagery of circa 2090 London just fantastic, with no explanation so far?
  2. Similarly, we are using OneDrive without any add-ons, just some GPO policies. It all works fine as the default store for everyone.
  3. Think you'll have to try it. We did try different SSIDs early on and had problems with AirPlay, so we put the screens on the same one as the teachers.
  4. Install the Bytello app onto the Iiyama screen (if it's a recent model). Bytello replaced Screenshare Pro. It supports AirPlay and Chromecast. Yes, our screens are on the same VLAN as the teacher tablets.
  5. We went for an 8000 lumen laser projector and high reflectivity motorised screen. You can't really match it with any kind of flat display.
  6. You've opened up a Surface?
  7. We started this two years ago and finally disconnected the RM DCs three months ago. Do it slowly and carefully so as not to break things during the migration. Preserve security while you're migrating by applying updates to both new and old servers. We setup a new domain and new vanilla VM servers with new accounts for all. The sharing was a pain as was dual AD Azure sync while we were running both domains. This is where things can break if you're not careful. We did go GPO because we didn't feel ready to go pure InTune, although we're starting to make use of that now. It was a great feeling to finally demote the last RM DC and get rid of it.
  8. Further to this, and having had a demo of Ruckus Cloudpath, we're probably going to go with it. Is anyone else using Cloudpath?
  9. Much as I don't like the huge heating oil fill-up (the last bill was £2300), you get the best rates by filling from near-empty as the suppliers don't like doing top-ups.
  10. Smoothwall does our search terms filtering but you do have to have inspect/decrypt enabled (for secure Google and Bing) with the certificate distributed to the workstations.
  11. The frenzied ramp down towards the last day of term is generally evil for us. However, the first day of the Christmas break is excellent and we can get on with installations and projects right up to when the school closes just before Christmas Eve. Dress down, no interruptions, bit of mince pie. Bliss!
  12. Have just finished two more Scandi dramas, Deadwind and Entrapped, both good. There is apparently a Deadwind S3 but we haven't got it yet.
  13. This position has now been filled. Vacancy is closed.
  14. Yay - brilliant that you gave it another try. Superb series.

  18. You have to push the bottle up - it's an intelligence test!
  19. Banshee is one of the greatest series ever made. Absolutely riveting.
  20. We set our server room aircon to 22C as it's quite commonly recommended, especially by our aircon support company.
  21. Archive 81. Dead creepy and a nice performance from the lead actress.
  22. I thought the subject was obliged to accept it in any format you provide that is generally readable? I wouldn't be wasting paper on a SAR.
  23. Night Sky was excellent, a high quality slow burner, as you said. I look forward to the next series. Speaking of JK Simmons, have you watched Counterpart? Truly superb.
  24. They tested our e-mail (365) for resistance to malware and asked about MFA. However, they asked no questions about other cloud systems. This was in March. I guess things must have changed since.
  25. I didn't consider any cloud systems to be within scope. I could be wrong.
