Hi We use moodle 1.9 on a windows server 2008. We use my SQL administrator to manage the tables. Our statistics table has gotten too big so when it is enabled on a page it takes 30 seconds to load the page. I want to flush the table to start off with an empty table. Does anyone have a good step by step on how I can do this? Secondly does anyone know of any good moodle administrator courses? Not a course for creating courses but one that helps manage a moodle install. Good maintenance tasks, problem solving etc? Preferably in the north west? Or does anyone know of any good checklists for moodle maintenance tasks? Like annual tasks to keep moodle running quickly. Thanks

I have noticed it still creates the folder but just displays that syntax error message. Problem 2 Is ok i just changed it in the hapconfig file after seeing another one of your posts. Problem 4 I changed the web.config with the names of my teaching groups and admins. And the shortcuts show up for all users. But when i have copied the shortcut from Management to resources the live tile on the resources one (i created) doesn't work. Thanks for getting back to me.

I have exactly the same issue. Just found this and removed it manually. All seems ok now. have you had any problems with creating folders in IE 9? Or allowing teachers to access the room bookings?

Right i have it running with users logging in ok but my next issues are: 1. When i try to create a new folder in the My Files section mapped to the users N drive it comes up with "SyntaxError: Syntax Error" 2. When i try to delete or edit an already mapped drive it come us with "An WCF Error has Occured" 3. When i drag a file into the browser to try upload it, it just attempts to open the file with internet explorer. 4. Teachers cannot see the bookings screen. I have set the icon up and made the changes to the web.config for the bookings but it still says unauthorised access. Any help on the above would be great thanks. It is just running in our office at the moment so no live users. Thanks

Also how you link remote apps into it? E.g. Word, Libra office, SIMS and the RMMC. WOuld love to get these working through it but have no idea where to start

Hi Guys, I have been looking at HAP for a long time and finally got some time to set it up. I downloaded the V9 Full version (Wednesday Version). And began setting it up. Now i was testing it on a windows 7 machine with IIS 7 linked the domain. I went through the whole setup no problems but then when completed and trying to login it will not let me. It says the username or password is incorrect on student, teacher or admin accounts. Is this because it is on a PC rather than one of our servers? Also how do i get back to the setup page as now each time i browse to the ..hap/setup.aspx it just takes me to the login page. I know i put a couple of questions in the title but i imagine i will have more as i set it up. Thanks

Hi Since upgrading our cc4 network to windows 7 and ie9 all student users have their Internet explorer windows displayed at 125% instead of 100%. I can't find an option in the user registry policies in the rmmc to change it. Could anyone give me some ideas on. How to change it to 100%? Thanks

W have started having this issue every now and again with it just happening to random pupils. Not found a fix for this yet.

When you say reapplied the update is that just updating system packages? or another way.

Same with all logins. Don't know how many affected yet. Some seem to have gone through fine but other not.

Hi Guys, Anyone on CC4 had any issues with a recent update? I have been updating system packages and it has failed on a number of machines and when you login you get messages saying the following was not installed properly ExclusiveUseChecker.exe AUPViewer.exe ConcurrentLogonConfigApp.exe MyConnectUsernameDisplay.exe MyConnectSystrayLauncher.exe Tried health checks and restarting, reassigning the update but the machines it failed on are offline in the RMMC. When looking in services loads of the RM services have disappeared!!! :S We had installed update 110 a couple of weeks back. Anyone had anything similar. Is rebuild going to be the only fix? Thought the half term was going to easily. Cheers

Hi we are starting to use the asset management in spiceworks but need to label assets. Can anyone recommend a decent way of printing labels, good labels that can't be removed easily and a whether you have a special printer. A school near us has something like a barcode gun that prints off labels. Need something that is fairly cheap but not easy to remove the labels. Cheers
