My first reaction was - they already have the information they need assuming you are not dealing with blind people - they just need to look at the thing but then I thought - hang on - I once had to deal with a teacher who managed to put a USB-Printer cable in the wrong way round - by which I mean she put the PC end of it into the printer socket - which is only really possible with 'the big hammer' (we know this because we tried with a dead cable and a dead printer) - but she did it several times so - although I can see why this could happen - if they are so unthinking (not dumb - they are adults with proper qualification - but just not thinking) that they do this then it will need to be something serious I would go with Tipex - as big as possible - with bright pen on top of it - that is what I used in my last school for such things

Had a call yesterday saying they were from Virgin and they had detected a problem slowing down our internet and if we didn't do something about it it could damage our equipment which is different Mrs mikeprice answered it and told then they were talking b******s and hung up things is - the comms equipment is actually theirs anyway - so it it got broken by a fault on the line they would have to fix it because they caused it AND because the contract says it is their stuff and they have to keep it working so seriously after people who are not totally aware of how the system works i.e. the vulnerable and 'hard of thinking' - who are also vulnerable

It would be an amazingly effective generator of resistance to forward movement once you got over about walking speed and a great way of testing bike handling skills when a large lorry goes past at speed or in a gusty side wind probably most use on an exercise bike in the garden

I ran a Raspberry Pi club for a term at one point problem was that to connect the things we had to disconnect the monitors and keyboards from the computer room desktops and then put them back again afterwards and it didn't attract the nicest kids - they were ok but needed to be kept an eye on - and the promised help never appeared then they re-arranged the timetable so I was having to see a form out of school (Primary) after the end of school - so the Pi club kids were just left on their own until all the parents had bothered to turn up - and sometimes I had to phone a missing parent after - so it all became a nightmare the actual club was OK once we got the things connected and running - I got on well with the kids mostly - it was just the overheads in terms of organisation that was the problem

Possibly the wrong thread -(Dad jokes maybe) but thought it could go well here as well also - because communicating with 'some people' is rather like trying to communicate with the long dead

I was a full time teacher (plus doing IT Tech bits) for over 10 years - although I try to keep it quiet on here When I came back to the dark side (the hobnobs are better!) - I still did some teachering (only a few hours and occasionally ran a club after school There are several people on here who are proper teachers but clearly not one of 'those teachers' because if they break something they probably have to fix it themselves!

I think that is the point rather than just thinking I WANT you need to think about what is right - what impact it COULD have on other people and remember that this is just for this year maybe celebrate something else with the whole family later in the year when everyone has had a chance to have a vaccine too many people are either doing things because they want to and can get away with it or doing whatever they want because they don't think they will get anything and not caring about anyone else However, even though the comments in the Liverpool Echo are horrendously bad - the fact that the rates are coming down suggests that the majority of people are actually taking notice and behaving reasonably responsibly

Hi all being lazy and asking here rather than searching on the www first Basically my new laptop logs in via my old hotmail account - which seems to be linked to outlook.com nowadays and seems to have grown Office365 kinda automatically - I certainly didn't do anything it just started off like that when I got it and I've just left it My wife's logs in locally - just because - but she does connect to an outlook.com account but she does not have Office 365 so I was wondering - does Office 365 (Word Excel Powerpoint at least) just come free on Windows 10 - and if not how come I seem to have it with no license or use of nautical means and if I change my wife's to log in through her outlokk.com account will it automatically grow Office 365??? at the moment she uses LibreOffice - but doesn't like it because it is not identical to Office 2013 that she used to use at work sort of like my Mum who always had trouble driving cars that were not the same as a Morris 1000 - because all the switches and levers were in the wrong place and labelled wrongly

Just general moan to tell someone looks like we have a problem about Christmas Wife was in the shielding group - so we are a bit sensitive about exposure but son and daughter-in-law are expecting a baby mid December - it was an "accident" - the current youngest has delayed development - physically fine ( probably nuclear powered - never stops - cute as hell but has trouble understanding what you say) - hence is a bit of a handful but very loving and cute and stuff so they are VERY worried about coping with a new baby as well and we are in "ockdown - the sequel" Wife's son has been told that they qare going to her Mum's for Christmas - which makes sense - help - support - safe space - understand what she needs but what do we do?? normally they would have dinner at their house and we would join them and do kid things while they did dinner things but apparently not this year - and visiting them would mean visiting (probably) their household (which is probably OK) but also her Mum's household - who we get on well with - but also mix with their other kids (except one - for $reasons) and others so not sure how 'safe' but Mrs mikeprice will be really upset if she can't see the kids over Christmas - all of them - including her son and DIL and seeing DIL's Mum and Dad would be could because we get on well with them soooo mix with people and possibly die (based on what odds????) or stay at home and wave over video call and not hug kids I see trouble brewing

You could get him a special pen that writes underwater?? apparently you can get ones that write other words as well!!
