Yes - do not think that is a good idea at all sympathy for those that want to do the test and can't but - in most cases it is a want not a need on a slight side topic - I have actually written to my MP about petitions because you can start a petition about anything - within reason and people can 'sign' it - but if you seriously disagree with it there is no way to say so the letter was in response to a petition about ebike speed limits (yeah - I know shock -me ebikes) which loads of people shout about but the silent majority thinks are OK same applies here - loads of 17/18 year old would sign up to this - but loads more people probably think it is a dumb idea

Mrs mikeprice has just asked me to keep an eye out for a parcel being delivered for her apparently anyone who is elderly - or in the shielding group - can apply for a delivery of Vitamin D because they are probably not going out much just thought people ought to know! apparently it is best taken with calcium - she said - and she generally knows about medical stuff having worked in care and at a hospital for most of her life anyway - I suggested we check and if there is no calcium included then I could ask the butcher for a bone she could gnaw just to check - women rolling their eye is a sign of love?????? asking for a friend

Hmmmm I have come across a lot of these things - and a lot of discussions about batteries, charging times etc etc and this all looks a bit ambitious firstly - friction drive systems were abandoned many years ago due to impracticability - and they tend to wear out the tyres like crazy and don;t react well to wet conditions secondly - range is very limited - and there is a tendency to over estimate - but based on the charge time it looks dodgy - my bike can do about 40 miles on one charge - but it takes 4-5 hours to go from flat to fully charged - if this can charge in 45 minutes the battery capacity is quite low but mostly - the motor power is claimed to be 450W - which is not road legal in the UK or EU and, of course, it looks terrible There are loads of upgrade kits for bikes ===> ebikes on the market - you can convert a normal bike to ebike for cheaper than that Interesting thing though - thanks

Where I grew up - on the Wirral - there is a park and it has an elevated track which a local club run steam trains on They pull carridges that people can ride on - I couldn't wait for my daughter to become old enough to go on it - with Dad so she would feel safe Once all this virus stuff is over I must take the grand-kids there - it will be good for them!!!

Normal message saying something but not what you think it is saying probably find the plan is that everyone will have been offered a jab - but it will only mean the first one By then who knows what the delay before the second one will be I suspect they are privately planning on everyone having SOME protection by autumn - then doing it all properly next year with the 2 jabs - but which time the immediate problem of teh hospitals will have got better due to most people having 70% ish protection then the proper schedule next year will kill it off unless.........
