There has just been plans passed for a new development around a steep narrow lane that I often ride up on my bike local people are calling foul as there ecological survey was conducted on 2 dates one was during bat hibernation time the seconds was done on a day with gale force winds - hence no bats to be seen They claim the area is well know to be a bat habitat I shall be keeping an eye on the news for this - and for bats when spring starts

Went on bike ride to the airport today in a gap between rain I was just standing around hoping to see a plane when a fox trotted happily along the fence line about 10 yards from me then headed for the fence between the public area and the flight training schools - I managed to get my camera out just as he was headed there you-ll have to zoom in to see it properly - he is just on the path headed for the gate

Who else saw that and thought of Morcame and Wise and Andrew Preview??? all the right words etc etc

A very good point - I may do a fly by (OK ebike by) the test centre and see how it it happening - if there is a big queue then this would mean being close - as in 2m apart and wearing a mask - and outdoors - for an extended period and - as you said - possibly with people who are a higher risk than normal if it is quiet then I may go over - but only after discussion with Mrs mikeprice and making sure she is in agreement - she is more worried about things than I am in some ways and if I test positive then we need to have a plan and she needs to have food in to cook - and I have to show her where the kitchen is (last bit is a joke - still funny after all these years - maybe??) thanks for the replies

We are part of the CIty Region mass testing as from today so naturally the local newspapers are full of info on what to do, how it works etc etc or possibly not still not decided what to do - wife's son said "why would you get tested??" - and he works in the operating theatres at a local hospital - gets tested frequently for obvious reasons he may have a point - dunno I may go and get 'done' and see how it works before my wife decides - as she is more clinically vulnerable than me neither of us have been out much or around people for the whole year so the risk is minimal I would think opinions????

The Liverpool mass testing is moving out to the Liverpool City Region - starting Friday the nearest to us is a 5 minute walk away - but it serves the whole area - and it is just a 'turn up and wait' system $deity knows how well that'll work and - I only know because I read the local paper

WHen I used to drive to work in Liverpool, I used to vary between Radio City and Radio 1 or 2 I played City until they started with an advert that seriously annoyed me then I abandoned it for a while for BBC something and go back when I thought the advert might have gone if people put out adverts that are seriously annoying then I will turn off quite soon although - someone once said that if you do not understand an advert - you are not part of the target audience although detuning the whole radio station is probably not the actual target reaction

the main problem with these scammer is that they are not stupid and if they appear to be dumb - they are simply weeding out the intelligent and aiming for the vulnerable evil is probably the word in many cases

Thansk you thanks you thank you looks like we will be having Christmas Dinner with just the two of us due to stuff Mrs mikeprice will probably be a bit down about it - so I need something to make her laugh CLEARLY this is it - I will print each one off and make a sort of cracker using a toilet roll inside and get her to open each one there is a possibility that the actual jokes do not make her laugh much but the constant on going bad jokes may be what I need I have found that constant eye rolling eventually produces laughter or madness not such which gotta try something THIS IS WHAT EDUGEEK IS FOR!!!!!! probably EDIT anyone know is there is a way of making sure Mrs mikeprice cannot make contact with @witch just wondering for no reason
