I came across this last week: AnywhereTS - the free soft thin client creator It seems to allow you to boot the thin client image over the network via PXE, boot directly from a USB stick, install to the local hard drive from a CD/USB stick and a few other methods.. not managed to get it working yet though. It runs but just hangs and then says it can't get an IP address. Going to give it another shot later.

I will do once we get it in school. We have a print contract so they are currently testing it before putting it into use on our network. We have the ML-3710ND printers.. not sure if it will be the same driver?

We've started using the Viglen Genue Ultra Small computers with AIO monitor/stand. They have a cover over the cables secured with a screw to stop anybody unplugging things. I've not had any helpdesk calls related to unplugged cables from these computers. http://www.viglen.co.uk/viglen/attachments/products/GenieUltraSmall.pdf The price for the i3 version is pretty reasonable (with 19" monitor).

Samsung have modified the print driver to remove the pop up. If testing with it goes well then we should be getting it on our network soon
