I don't think they have. I got an email from a supplier mentioning 3 new ranges of the Casio LED projectors. The Casio website makes no mention about them being discontinued.

You're welcome to have it.. I'm not sure how old it is.. I think it probably started out with a dual PII or PIII server board... The current motherboard/CPU were installed in 2007 I think.

Hi all, Just got a couple of servers that I'm looking to get rid of as they're taking up space and I no longer need them. The black tower has a single 3ghz Xeon (Irwindale), Intel SE7320SP2 motherboard (supports 2 CPU's, only 1 installed), LSI MegaRAID SCSI card. All working, no hard drives or RAM are installed though. Even without the batteries they still weigh quite a bit, and I don't want to post them with inadequate packaging and for them to get damaged, so unfortunately it will be collection only, although I may be able to deliver within a certain distance if you buy buy a few!

I think the 1000 would need the RBC6 and the 1500 would need the RBC24. You can get the RBC6 for around £60, the RBC24 is quite a bit more around £180, although you can just buy the batteries on their own and fit them to the battery tray for less Brand New RBC24 (RBC 24) batteries for APC UPS | eBay UK .

Out of interest, what will you be projecting them onto? Apparently projecting them onto ordinary whiteboards has issues with glare due to the shiny surface of them.

To carry on from what others have said, SQL 2008 Express is also limited to only 1 processor so if you're using a server with multiple processors, SQL is only utilising one of them. 2008 Express is also limited to a database size of 4GB, 2008 R2 Express is limited to 10GB though.

Not sure if it's related but I was having troubles building a CC4 workstation on an ESXi server. Managed to get it to work in the end by setting the Operating System type as Windows Vista in the VM settings.. Something to do with the Win PE version that the CC4 build client uses?

We had a similar issue with an XE33, stayed on for longer than 15 seconds (about 15 minutes). Turned out to be a fan issue. Sanyo are aware of this problem so replaced the fans under warranty.

I'll be interested in following this. I've got a Samsung Q1 Ultra running Windows 7, thinking about upgrading to 2GB of RAM, not sure about an SSD though, 3g modem would be tempting as it has the SIM card slot already.. I might have to look at a CPU upgrade, the 600mhz A100 isn't the fastest!!

Does the stand not just use a standard VESA monitor? We've got some Viglens that are a similar style to those Dell's and you can mount and standard monitor on the stand that has VESA mounting holes.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that. We use ours with Symantec BE.

We've got some RDX Quickstor drives for backups. We have the internal ones which connect using SATA. They're pretty robust things and quite versatile as they just appear in your computer as a removable disk. Not had any problems with them so far.

We have a CC4 network and have hardly any RM laptops. Yes, you can add them to the network using the RM SmartClient, you can also import the laptop drivers into the management console, these will then be installed during the build process.

I noticed the DC7700 on Misco but was put off by the 1 year warranty, ICT Direct offer a 2 year warranty on their refurbished desktops.

You should be able to get ESXi installed on it. I've installed ESXi on a couple of older servers for testing purpose, the CPU's don't support any virtualisation extensions but performance isn't too bad. Just chuck in loads of RAM!

I was trying to build one in an a VM on an ESXi server. I kept getting an error (can't remember exactly), but it wasn't the network driver as it was already in Win PE.. tried using the build disk ISO also and had the same error.
