I'm having an issue with a HP 250 G6 Laptop. The laptop has been in use for just over a year. Over the past year, the screen is suddenly extremely dim upon startup. It's so dark I can barely make out the bitlocker text box. Each time it goes off, after a few hard resets it comes back on as normal and this seemed to fix it and it doesn't have any problems for another few months. Last week however, it went again and no amount of resets fixes it. The laptop also doesn't power on using the mains when the battery is removed. I've just put a new screen into it but that new screen is dim as well. I can plug in a vga once I'm past the bitlocker screen and the screen shows up as normal on the external monitor. It's just the built-in display that doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? I'm at a loss as to what the cause is.

Hi All need to pick your brains. We have the following set up in our classrooms. · HP EliteDesk 800 Mini Desktop (Windows 10 Pro) · Monitor 1 Connects to a monitor screen on teachers desk (VGA connection) · Monitor 2 connects to a Iiyama touch screen monitor (used as interactive board) (connection HDMI 1) Both Screen are normally on duplicate on windows projector mode. When a member of staff switches logins, Monitor 2 flashes from black to image constantly with the monitor trying to work out resolution. Monitor 1 shows image as normal and does not flash. When looking at windows projector mode the setting reverts back to PC screen only, however still shows a duplicated mode (i.e. two screen show an image) The only way to stop this is to turn off the PC. I have update the Intel graphics card and no change. I have three PCs starting to do this fault so not sure why it is growing. I feel this is a Windows / graphic driver issue as this only happens with these computers and nothing else. Was thinking of a possibly gpo or registry that could force the display to be on duplication and not switch back but am unsure how to do this, any ideas? Many Thanks

We have a bunch of old Exterity IPTV boxes here and I was wondering if anyone knows of any ways they could be re-purposed for use with third party software or similar?

Who cleans your screens/monitors? We have about 300 computers around the school. Last time I cleaned any, I did 70 and that took me 2 hours (glass screens, so it took a bit of effort on each). They get dirty relatively quickly, and our health and safety auditor mentioned that they needed cleaning more often. So, I don't really have a day to spare every week to go round scrubbing screens... What do you do?

Good morning lovely fellow data people. We are in the process of migrating out MIS from SIMS to Progresso. I am trying (and getting there) with setting up templates and screens and I was wondering if there was any way to copy the colour coding from one screen to another. I have tried searching in the saved condition drop down but this appears to be only able to bring up saved conditions for the current screen. I also tried copying the screen and that didn't copy the colour coding either. Really don't have the time to spend hours working on each one individually as there are 16 to do for each screen...Any secret hacks anyone has? Thanks in advance

Computer Desks – Oyster Flip Top desks. Our school is giving away 16x flip tops desks. The desks are in good working order with working built in 17” screens. Desks must be collected ASAP from Sutton. I have attached the original quote (pic 1 & 2), and will try upload photos as soon as I can.

Hi, This might be a really simple problem for some people but I am sick of looking for answers and not getting any support at school. I want to display videos on a number of TV screens around the school without having to have a computer/netbook/laptop plugged into the back of them. I was hoping to use the school wifi to share what was on my computer screen around the school. I have been looking at using WMC and the using an extender but not sure if that is going to work (authentication issues???????). Anyway if there is some way of doing this on the cheap it would be great. Please help?
