  1. Yup come across this, we powershell this at the AD it then pulls over to office 365: set-adobject "CN of email group" -Add @{dLMemSubmitPerms="CN of who is allowed"} So it will look like this: set-adobject "CN=AllYear11emailgroup,OU=Groups,DC=Test,DC=Local" -Add @{dLMemSubmitPerms="CN=Staffgroup,OU=Groups,DC=Test,DC=Local"} This allows only people listed in the dLMemSubmitPerms attribute to email the group.

  4. Yup we have. On the Adobe admin Console home page you should have products show. This will tell you how many licences you have. We have linked ours to Azure AD makes life easy and keeps in sync. You get all the Apps with the user licence this covers MAC and PC and some mobile apps as well. Adobe Spark is web only https://spark.adobe.com/ You can make packages in the package menu to push out to devices but Users will need to login to use Adobe on the computers as it is a per user licences. Be aware that you can overprovision licences and LGFL will charge you for any licences you are over by. This might be they have not given you the right permissions. Have you log in with the account that is in the form you submitted LGFL ?

  6. Title: Users can't access Exchange Online User Impact: Users may be unable to access Exchange Online using multiple protocols. More info: This issue primarily affects Outlook on the web, though some users may also experience problems with Outlook desktop and mobile devices. Users may also be unable to utilize some features that rely on Representational state transfer (REST) functionality. Users able to authenticate to Exchange may experience delays sending and receiving email. Current status: Further analysis has determined that the issue is being caused by a recent configuration update to components that route user requests. We've reverted the update and telemetry shows that the service is now recovering. Scope of impact: This issue could potentially affect any of your users intermittently if they are routed through the affected infrastructure. Root cause: A recent configuration update to components that route user requests is causing impact to the service. Next update by: Thursday, October 1, 2020, 11:30 AM (10:30 AM UTC)

  10. We use Edulink from Overnet Data packed with extra features. We stayed clear of Capita's mobile offerings.
  11. Guessing you are trying to apply it via SOLUS3. You need to create a user with Returns Manager role in the groups in system manager. Then in SOLUS3 go to Environment > Targets > Services Select SIMS DMS then fill in the server name & sims server if not populated and then add the details created for the user. Then rerun the upgrade. If worst case you can manually import the file set just extract it to a folder via SOLUS3 then in sims go to Tool > Setups > Import Fileset

  16. I believe that you need a stream licence to save it back.
  17. For sixth form sites we do a team for each class. Problem you will have doing it via channels it you will not be able to control permissions. It can only be done at a team level. Also some features where you can invite the whole team you might not be able to easily exclude certain members.
  18. We have done it before. Our setup had the same UPN in Office 365 and AD for accounts. We used UPN matching when setting up the Azure Connector after un-federating. Took around 2 hours for us but we did a lot of prep work before hand like sure email address matched up. You can setup stuff that might help like: Seemless SSO: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-sso-quick-start Assign a licenses to a group: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/license-users-groups#to-assign-a-license-to-a-group Smart SSO links: https://jackstromberg.com/o365-smart-linksso-link-generator/

  21. Spoken to them about a week ago was told that new SDS profiles will not create the teams and their was not a way to auto create. https://www.salamandersoft.co.uk/blog/teacher-creation-of-teams-managed-by-sds/ Salamander paid is great worth every bit we pay for nothing is not possible.
  22. Yes it should do sorry forgot about that. Just watch out for the old DNS records as scavenging might not remove them. Best to check DNS after. But also you will need to give it time to replicate. Do the check via cmd: Repadmin /replsummary You may need to check as well the FSMO roles are not held on the old server as you might need to seize the roles. Via cmd: netdom query fsmo
  23. Step-By-Step: Manually Removing A Domain Controller Server
  24. Might need something like: one to one: Merge Many To One MAPI lab Mail Merge Toolkit: https://www.mapilab.com/blog/mail-merge-attachments-outlook/ But I personally would not really go down this route.
