I'm pretty sure that you could make a video about MOST companies activities, couldn't you? Are there ANY companies that are 100% clean? Do you source everything from 100% ethical companies? If that is how you want to give birth, then full respect to you! Don't listen to anyone else, make up your own mind, but be prepared to change plans at the last minute. The birth WILL be easy, so just enjoy!

Sadly, I live to far away from a Domino's! When I lived in Ilford, I had one at the bottom of the street.....Recipe for disaster! On my days off (I was single at the time) I could be sat at my PC, order a pizza with a side, and 25 mins later, they'd be knocking at my door! I used to do that once a week, and it was pizza heaven! Ordering online meant that the side order was usually free too!

Nice clarification post, Andy. If I had everything around, like that, then I'd do without a car too! And, to be honest, a train WOULD (probably) get you the 420 miles to your family, quicker than a car could. (As long as they live near a station too ) My family are only 120 miles away, but I know that when my Dad went into hospital, before Xmas, I had only 1 choice. Spend 2 hours in the car? Or spend closer to 3-3 1/2 hours on public transport. The journey from Suffolk to Northants is not well catered for by British Rail/ National Express!

Don't get me started on "global warming"!!!!!!

@Pottsey Look, my post was mostly tongue-in-cheek! The thing is.....Some people would like a car-free life, and some wouldn't. If we were all the same........ blah, blah, blah! I said earlier in the thread, that I lived pretty happily for a few years in London without a car, BUT, as I live in the middle of nowhere, it would be completely impracticable for me. Especially with a 6 year old son. Now, the choice to live where we do was a conscious choice....Knowing that my son will grow up with fields all around, rather than in a city or a town, makes a world of difference. If people are happy to use public transport, then fair play to them, they are welcome to it. I, however, won't!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Such a glorious "holier than thou" attitude, there! One would hope that you're never in a position where you need to get somewhere FAST! There'll be no walking, or public transport for you, then! My guess is a taxi, which is.................a CAR!

Oh....something I almost forgot! Saturday morning..... My son comes in the bedroom, and wakes me up.... "Dad, can I go downstairs?" "Of course, son. Give me a minute, and I'll be down with you!" Of course, I fall back to sleep (and the missus is snoring, next to me!!!). 20 minutes later, I jump out of bed, and rush downstairs to see what havoc has been wreaked...... My son is sat, with the telly on, watching Phineas and Ferb (great cartoon too!!!), whilst eating his coco pops, relaxing on the sofa! Good as gold!

@dhicks....Absolutely true! I lived in London, and only used a car for visiting family and friends OUTSIDE the capital. Everywhere was by tube and bus....Now that I live in the boonies, I couldn't live without a car.

Agree entirely! 6 year old son, and EVERY day is special! Even those times when he really does my head in (like over the weekend) he will do just one thing that makes me burst with pride and love. A child is like a fine wine.....The more they mature, the more you enjoy it! As a baby, they can DO nothing! As a toddler, you WANT them to do nothing! When they grow up, THEY want to do nothing!!!

I want one of those! I live on a farm estate, with loads of off-road opportunities! Would also be useful for getting across the estate to the in-laws, when the snow is deep, and they can't get out of their house!

Congratulations Solitaire..... Never mind 6 months.....I've got a 6 year old, and I still wish he was that size!!!! However, I'm gonna bet that the first time your baby says "I love you, Mummy", you'll burst into tears! It may be a while off, just yet, but when it happens.......There is probably nothing better in life! Although, my son climbing into bed, first thing in the morning, putting his arms around me and saying "Wake up, Daddy" comes pretty close!!!

Why would you WANT a car-free life? The day that they make public transport that goes from near my front door, to where I want to go,(and on time!) then I'll happily accept a car-free life! However, as public transport is so poor, I think I'll stick to my car, thanks!

Seems like it's quite an easy fix..... Was issued with my own E5-00 today, to have a play with, and see if I could get exchange working. When the initial set-up of the email account takes place, it defaults to "secured" and port 443. By changing it to "unsecured", it reverts to port 80, and exchange pushes the mail through. Success!

Hmmmmmm...can't beat "brinner"!
