Just in case anyone stumbles across a similar issue in the future, we now have a second one of these installed, and I can confirm that the second one is exactly the same. So, I either have 2 projectors on the verge of ignition, or it's normal!

Thanks NB9457 If I had my way we wouldn't be using this kit, but as the saying goes: Beggars can't be choosers! This is what's throwing me - it's more orange than I've seen in any other projector. Am tempted just to run it, at least it's not raining here if we do end up outside...

Hi all, We've had a Smart set up from an Academy that's sadly shut down. We don't have any of these on site at present so I have nothing to compare to, but there all appears to be an ominous orange "glow" inside the projector when it's on. Obviously you can normally see some light when a projector is running, but this looks more like a "heat" glow than projector bulb glow. Having said that, there's no smell of burning or what I would say is excessive heat. Is it normal or am I about to cause a full evac the building?!

Morning all Been hiding away for a bit what with one thing and another, but now have cause to come out of the woodwork again. I know this is resurrecting an age old thread, but we're having difficulties getting Impero to accept the gmail smtp settings. Can anyone shed any light? I'm using the settings provided by Google and running V5.4.20 of Impero (it's a new first time install). Thanks!

I know this is odd, especially because I've not posted here for a while, but I'd like some help. Can you complete the sentences? It is for a "project" that will celebrate the unseen in what everyone does. Please feel free to ask wives/husbands/partners/workmates/children/etc/etc. I will post the completed work when it's done, which will be Sunday morning. I'm not talking specifics, but generals - so not that SMT wouldn't let us implement that specific piece of s/w or that they wouldn't let us go to BETT (PS was great to see everyone there)... but... I am invisible. I am a... I do... And nobody sees. So, in my case: I am invisible. I am a working mother. I work full time, I keep the home services in working order, I fix the dvd/TV/whatever the latest junk is that my beloved has brought home. And nobody sees.

We didn't have a video, and we haven't actually got round to ordering the official photos. We've been married 6 years! In fact, we don't have any pics of our wedding up in the house at all. Should sort that out really.

I think there's a very delicate balance to be struck - as you say, plans can and do change, but the last thing I want is to make an ill-informed decision. The way I've chosen at the moment, if hypnosis doesn't work, I haven't stopped myself from using something stronger; and if I suddenly turn round and say actually I want to go to hospital, that's easier than turning round at the last minute and saying I'm going to stay at home! And thank you for the positive vibes - all greatfully received!

@Sirbendy; Oh, I'm all up for the baby carrying! I love the idea of tie-slings too, so that they'll grow with the child. We have gone for a pushchair/pram thing as well though... I do want a lot of flexability so that my parents/in-laws can choose what they want to use (in a ploy to get them very involved with baby-sitting duties from an early age!). As far as the whole "odd look" thing goes, I'm stocking up quite a few of those when I tell people we're aiming for (yes, I know it may not happen, and am fully accepting of the fact) a home water birth with hypnosis for pain relief. At this point I'd like to shout out very loud that I don't want to hear anybody's horror birth stories, thank you very much. When you're going to the dentist for major dental work, you don't want to hear exactly what's going to happen and what can go wrong. Ditto for surgery, and ditto for labour as far as I'm concerned! Real nappies - just looking at information at the moment, so thanks for those links. OH is a little concerned as a mate of his from work went out and bought a whole set (birth to potty) at a cost of £400 ish before the baby arrived, and then they didn't get on with them and ended up using disposables. I'm trying to tell him that there are ways around that, but I think that really put him off!

Ooooo.... I'm not reading the pregnancy one - it's only going to tell me I can't eat cheese, pate, liver, shellfish, fish, or drink alcohol! Nuts to that! Oh, and I haven't read it, so my body doesn't know I'm supposed to be sick in the morning - seem to have got away with that one!

Thanks for all the congratulations! It's just sooooo exciting! We had a trip to our local big shopping centre at the weekend, which started out as a "market research" expedition, and ended up with us coming away having ordered a whole travel system - well we did haggle and got about £200 off, so it seemed worth it!! As for "would Dad like to hold the baby", forget that - I don't even know which way up to hold it! They say instinct will kick in, but I'm not convinced! Do they come with a manual?
