Yea but you should be able to archive the mailbox or do something under the data and compliance (think it's called that)on the office 365 admin portal

I'm not really 100% with macs at the moment and for the past year or so my level of confidence is growing, and my golden triangle is going ok even with a .local domain, neverless we have our Mac mini server along with 35 mac minis for the pupils using the same version of os that came shipped with them and that's el Capitan, i know macs can be very sensitive to change and they sometimes don't like to play ball even though the answer is right there in front off them..... so my question is i want to upgrade and update all of our macs including the server but I'm not 100% which would be the best way now logic predicts that i do the server then do the clients now if i do this am i going to get into a pickle or am i going to be ok, i presume this question has been asked before so here it is again lol thanks

if you mean can i see all domain users on both sides of azure ad and g suite, yea i can. in the g suite my test user account is active and under the google apps in azure at i can see all the user accounts and i've assigned the test user account in azure the status of direct and an access of default organization back on the azure google app dash (blue little cloud icon) where you have the 1,2,3 steps on step 1 - config single sign on i have that set to - password single sign-on step 2 the configure provisioning is set to automatic so am i on the right track ??

so we are looking at going down the chromebook route and we have brought one to test out, now i'm wanting to use our network account to be able to log into these chromebooks...what i've done so far is enabled the app on ad azure and i can see all the users both sides (on azure for the google app ) and when i log into the google admin side i can see all the users thats came across now i must be missing something or i haven't enable tick box but i cant seem to login to the chrome book using my test account it lets me put in my user name etc but when i get to the password i just bounces back at me any help would be appreciated

yep i've been up since 7 this morning updating our servers

first thing i would advise is not to make any config changes - not until you have have had either some sort of training or being watched by a senior consultant who has gone over your plan on improvements. that you would think make an improvement on things - as a starting point if i was you i would look what kit they have - document everything - and get a feeling for the business first - look at how they do things and research on what could A) improve business as a whole by implementation of such service B) reduce cost of IT expenditure within the business )these are just examples but given that they are a small company im guessing they don't have cust out going cost - however i maybe wrong you would know more than me obvs - do you have a general plan of what you would like to achieve

Please don't take this the wrong way but your asking us what is the best way forward that's like me saying her are the keys to my Kingdom but make one mistake and it will all come crashing down giving advice is one thing but asking for how to do something is another (thats the way I read it anyway don't know about anyone else ) do you know what a dmz is used for?

@locoparentis - i feels a sense of sarcasm here - look all I know is what I have been told and from what I have been told it sounds like they are on the ball, and I think systems like this, in fact I don’t get why the GOV don’t have something like this instead of separt systems - it should be a multi-link with ALL authorities and vice versa especially for when it comes to looking after a pupils / welfare / mental health and all goes along with protecting that child until they are classed as an adult then its treated a bit different ( at a guess) In regards to Sims it reads the data from SIMS - it’s a one way communication - and then it is imported into safeguard The safeguard software also allows multiple authorities to share data already (that is alrdy implemented in the system) you give them a link and they have a 1 time access to the data they need over a secure connection of course. you can also upload your own policies into the system so you have a central point of reference for staff so they know what safeguarding procedures are in place at your school. along with NSPPC access and other data you might want to upload what else do you want to know if you want to bullet point me some questions please email me at [email protected] and send them to me i will be more than happy to send them to Steve - Director / Software designer
