we have a network share that currently holds the installation files for Office Pro 2019, currently is executed via a batch script that calls the setup.exe - which looks like this setup.exe /configure staff.xml I'm trying to make our lifes a bit easier and trying to get sccm to install this upon being images via a TS using the Run Command Line option from ts when i come to reimage the test laptop it popped up with the ms office 365 screen and then another message came up about saying unable to install office "\\xxxx\xxxxxx\CDN_Office2019\setup.exe" /configure staff.xml - just tried this hast worked (got the pop up) "\\xxxx\xxxxxxx\CDN_Office2019\setup.exe /configure staff.xml" - trying this next - which i dont think will work any suggestions

Different issue to I had but sounds similar in the end I had to remove my MP , Deployment server and IIS in order to get my situation sorted Sccm is such a pig some times and It don’t help with everything being so integrated

But what about when a student replied to a teacher? Is it still disabled as we use a custom policy which chat is disabled but they can still reply Which can be the start of a disaster

So I have managed to migrate a test mailbox over to exchange online and mail is flowing in and and out of the mailbox However And I’m not sure if this a routing issue or not or some spam setting however if I email from my personal account my mail goes into the junk and same if I email from the migrated mailbox sometimes the email will go into my junk on my iPhone for my iCloud account Is this a common thing or not?

Veeam is a fantastic product, not sure if you have use it or not but you find a vast majority of education establishments use veeam purely for it’s robustness and simplicity, and the fact it just works out of the box Don’t knock the product if you haven’t tried it because you could end up with a solution that claims to backup your infrastructure and turns out to be a pile of crap and you lose your job

Hi Steve yea we got salamander to do the import and sync I’ve not dealt much with OneNote as trying to deal with other things. But I suppose yes I’ve had a play and from What I’ve seen that only seems to be the only way. I know OneNote can be opened from teams but it’s the creation of the class note book classes that teachers have to create first that they have to create Or am I getting this wrapped over my head, how are other schools setting this up?

We have SDS synced with teams and can see all the classes etc But I’m wanting to try and see if there is away of bulk creating the classroom one note book so when a pupil opens there one note book it will have all the subject tabs ready Is this possible? Anyone ever looked into this I all I can find is that the teacher has to manually create the note book give it a name add extra teachers and then add all of the pupils 1 by 1 just don’t seem right especially when we can sync class data and pupil data into teams ?? Am I missing something

We do use the same email address it’s just keeping track, think I might have to have a play with the spice works settings just want something easy either email or a public form base submission type of thing thanks for the input

So added the clients to my DCs and tried the pass thru and enable the sso however and tried to test it made sure that the urls that needed to be on the intranet side, However still unable to login also what made it worst was that when I removed the password password hash my users couldn’t login however some users could login e.g my user account could login could of been a cache issue but There is a log file on whatever server the client uses to pass the authentication through and i got an error about authentication failed, I will find the error when back on Monday or if I get chance to vpn on So I turned back on password hash and changed it back to pass hash authentication And everything went back working which was nice lol
