Hi, Just curious if any of you work out the PUE values for your server rooms. We are pushing close to 200+ servers and feel it necessary to start working out PDU values. Currently operating at 1.8. Any thoughts? Also what temperature do you run hot and cold isles at?

Have you configured wds to respond to unknown and known devices?

We are running the latest release and are having great difficulty in finding why some students and/or pcs arnt being picked up.

Basically a student sold the license keys from the side of the pcs on ebay. so we got audited. by: Business Software Alliance.

stand your ground. if you are in charge of licensing then you have to say no.

we have an in house written support desk. roughly speaking about 10 posts a day. often just requiring a reboot of a pc. 800 workstations. 5000 users (full windows 7 and full adobe packages) also support our local feeder schools 1 post per day. 2 support technicians followed by 2 network managers p.s. each day we expect to have 0 open tickets except where replacement parts are required.

i agree. 700 pc's they work perfectly!! only about 3 have ever broken. engineers always there next day.

just no. i cant find a pay or free app that does it. the old phones used to come with the feature... its the one feature its lacking.

the only other things i check other than the above: general server logs. status of disk on the san. battery check on ups. logs on our core switch. firewall logs. backups

Adding to my above comment: I have also heard of a roomer that you can close netop student by a keyboard shortcut. Anyone know what it is?
