As far as I'm aware they did purchase SLG for all SIMS schools. When we enquired (2yrs+ ago) the price was almost identical to SIMS Direct costs. May have changed now, but we purchased directly from Capita
Not sure who the best person to contact is, but a request through the service desk should get you to the correct info.
Hope it helps.
we've had loads from Hope Education before and they last pretty well.
The price has gone up a bit recently but still worth it in my opinion
The foam padding does come off sometimes but a glue gun sorts that once and for all. Perfect work for the work experience kids!
Headphones
Classpack of 30 is £198.50
Hope it helps
Thanks all for responding to the survey.
I will publish the results at the end of this week for anyone who is interested (and has completed the survey)
Thanks again
Hi All
I'm doing a research project for my degree and I need to research some basic figures on ICT networks in UK Secondary Schools.
If you would be so kind as to take the survey that would be great and really help.
9 questions - shouldn't take long to fill out.
Please use this link School ICT Networks Survey
Many Thanks
Much appreciated.
Were a sims partner school and would be interested in helping you along although we'd be looking for a service that would be free for a year to make it worth our while. Pm me if you want to discuss further.
Word from Capita is that there were 'performance' issues with the webparts, so they are now scheduled for release in April 08
All schools who have ordered or have SLG1 should have recieved a letter from Capita with details of problem and a log in for a test site.
I hear that problems are almost sorted, so a release of SLG2 in April sounds very likely
