I've just ordered a load of stuff from them due to be delivered on Saturday!!

I've got one of the Nespresso coffee machines, and I love it :-) The only thing I don't like, is having to go into one of their shops to buy more coffee (plus it works out at around 30p a cup).....pretentious doesn't even come close to that experience!

Yeh the guy who was there has been there for as long as I can remember, he's now got a move to another school hence why the job has come up.

I've just had these people ring up :-) I had them so confused when I told them I didn't have a PC/laptop :-) apparently everyone has to have one, you can't exist without one :-) After arguing with him that I had no laptop, he told me I was clearly missing a brain and wouldn't be able to cope with a PC even if I did have one :-)

Pretty much the same as most for me, The Ring series was terrifying (Japanese originals) first time I watched them as was Audition....bit with the sack anyone? IT I watched at a stupidly young age and still I don't particularly like clowns as a result of it. The first SAW film was incredible as well, although very gory that ending completely blew me away and made 3 20 year old lads all check their wardrobes before they went to sleep that night :-) I do have a slightly strange one though.....Little Shop of Horrors with Rick Moranis (yes the musical!)....watched it a few times as a kid and it always gave me the same nightmare.....bizarrely years later I watched the exorcist and found that my nightmare caused by Little Shop of Horrors is actually taken from the exorcist....weird :-)

Do it Techmonkey! Go and get one :-) The card's hand made by the lady who runs our Reprographics deparment...she's very creative :-)

It might be 3 weeks until I actually leave, but I got my leaving present today....... Can't wait to get home to build it!!

Morning all, Just a little bit of a heads up. My job (or a version of my job) is about to become available. Morning all, very weird thing happening with our Email. Let me give you a scenario. A parent emails into school to person A. Person A forwards that email onto Person B who then tries to send an email to the Parent, only to have the email bounceback saying "None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.". Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks

Just in case people didn't know... Skype appears to have appeared in WSUS WSUS suddenly installed Skype on 06/27/12 We've just had sveral hundred PC's install Skype 5.9!

Bit like ibble dibble....but called G'day bruce...everyone starts off as bruce, and you have to say g'day to each other until you make a mistake, at which point the person who makes the mistake takes up a different aussie based name and takes a drink (sheila for example). So it goes a little like this...... Person 1 - G'Day Bruce Person 2 - G'day Bruce Person 1 - Say g'day to bruce, bruce (whilst nodding in the direction of another person) Person 2 - G'day bruce Person 3 - G'day bruce Person 2 - say g'day to bruce, bruce (whilst nodding in the direction of person 4) And so on....it's very funny (might lose something just in text) but the range of names makes it hilarious (think sheila, kylie, jason, bouncer, mrs mangel etc etc)

Morning all, Does anyone on here use the AQA testing software? In particular, were you trying to use it on Friday afternoon for science exams? If so, did you experience any problems with it? Would be very useful if anyone could let me know either way. Thanks

Afternoon all, I'm after a bit of advice. I've just bought myself a new shiny 40" tv for my lounge, but am after something to give the sound a bit of something. My lounge is very small and doesn't lend itself to having a traditional 5.1 setup in it, so I've been looking at soundbars. Anyone got one? Are they worth the money? Any recommendations? Thanks

I think you're spot on, however as my wife is a recently qualified teacher I think I've seen enough of the evening work and the masses of admin she has to do, plus parents evenings etc and it hasn't put me off.... Some more research required yet though I think.

I'm potentially looking at doing the same....unfortunatley I've only got a 2:2 so no bursaries for me :-( Found a course I like the look of though, just weighing up whether to take the plunge.....ned to get the application in soon though.

Morning all, We do all our PAT in house by a mix of a few members of staff as opposed to paying someone to come in and do it for us. I've been asked to take over the management of this, with a view to keeping track of when tests are due and arranging/organising for people to go and do the testing. As part of this I've been asked to put together a PAT plan which details the devices we have in school and when they are due to be re-tested etc. Does anyone have such a plan? Or does anyone have a link to a good site that details how often certain types of appliance should be tested? Thanks in advance. Iain

We've got a 1973 VW Bay Type 2 (there's pics on edugeek somewhere from when I first got it), and although it costs us a fortune each year on welding and all sorts of mechanical problems, I wouldn't swap her for anything :-) Took her out for the first time this year last weekend, went to a campsite called Nant Hill in Prestatyn (please excuse spelling) ahead of taking her away over half term next week to York. Looking forward to plenty more weekends this year sat by the Van :-)
