  1. Monopoly pub crawl? :-) I had mine this last Saturday night and although not exactly what people now see as being a traditional stag do (we didn't go abroad, we didn't do anything like go-karting/paintballing etc, me and a load of mates simply went out did a few hours drinking and then went for a curry), it was exactly what I wanted, was cheap so lots of people could attend and was nicely restrained so I didn't end up a drunken mess (and on that basis my Dad felt comfortable coming as well) :-) Paintballing/go-karting/quad biking etc are all very well and good, but why not do something different....zorbing? Comedy night is always good as well.
  2. I tend to use Lamphouse
  3. I went to Dublin for mine to see Noel Gallagher and tour the Guinness Factory, can definitely recommend that as well :-)
  4. This is probably just out of range for me :-( So disappointing :-(
  5. Been a while since I took part in this discussion (too long really!), but at the start of the year I booked my wedding and resolved to lose 1 1/2 stone by the wedding date (6th April). Started out at 20 stone 10lb's and after last nights weigh in, I'm now down to 19 stone 10lb's, so a stone off so far this year :-), not really doing anything massively special, reduced intake and increased what I'm burning off, and as a main part of my intake I'm eating much more fruit during the day (I actually feel like I'm eating more regularly than I was when I was putting weight on). Going to the gym once or twice a week (currently doing about 45 minutes exercise a time, 5 mins cross trainer and 40 minute, 5km run) and playing 5-a-side football twice a week, so a fair bit of activity in there. I am really enjoying the increased fitness levels I'm experiencing though, makes playing 5-a-side football so much easier and more enjoyable when a little bit lighter and a bit fitter. Although I know you should take it a pound at a time, I have revised my target to lose 1 stone 11lb's by the wedding so my weight begins with an 18 (been about 4 years since I could say that!)......5 weeks to go to the wedding (6th April), 11lb's to lose.....best get myself down the gym a bit more :-)
  6. That'll be the one :-) Quality bar, and porterhouse red was a fine drink indeed......can't agree with Oyster though :-s
  7. I have had some of the porterhouse stuff in a bar in london.....name escapes me.....when I was down at Bett this year, Porterhouse red, that was stunning. @bandgeekmafia78 made me try a pint of Oyster as well...that was truly vile stuff.
  8. Mine... Go to Dublin, Drink Guinness :-) (not necessarily in that order :-) ).
  9. I want one of these now!
  10. Smoky Bacon Frazzles....gift from the gods :-)
  11. Seconded :-) love that film :-)
  12. Just stumbled across this thread and it's intrigued me. Those of you who have got rid of roaming profiles, what exactly did you do? We have roaming profiles currently, but we already have in place start menu and desktop redirection, but we're experiencing quite horrendous logon times so anything I can do to reduce these has to be considered.
  13. Especially as you're based in Nottingham, give Ergo Computing a ring. They installed our VM Ware solution and provide us support since the installation.
  14. I had the horrible realisation this morning that I only have 20 days left of my 20's :-( But forget acting sensibly :-)
  15. Nothing to do with me, but hopefully of use to someone on here. Cheadle Hulme School ~ Current Vacancies
  16. Try the Acer x110p, I'm pretty sure the specs are similar. Normally they costs around the £220 mark (although the last batch we had in were only £205.
  17. + 1 here for CP Ltd, as stated before Mark (and Chris and Joe when Mark's not around) works very hard making sure his quotes are the most competitive and I very very rarely have to go anywhere else when buying something. Again as stated, free next day delivery :-)
  18. No I didn't get any further with it unfortunately
  19. It looks burnt to me :-)
  20. I take pre-printed labels, even easier as then you can stick one straight onto their contact information form :-)
  21. Have you stolen my identity? Your year is very similar to mine! Personally, I turn 30 next month, getting married in April (only booked at Christmas, 3 months planning we must be mad!) although we're getting married in Prestbury not Florida, although I am hoping we'll get to New York for the honeymoon. In addition, we're hoping to either move house this year or extend our current one. Professionally, I'm looking to switch jobs into a full Network Manager's job, and I'm also looking to achieve the MCITP Server Administrator this year, first exam booked for Feb half term! Best get started on the revision then :-) So yes, eventful to say the least :-)
  22. Well we've had a change in Headteacher, and I've been asked to look at bringing in a solution to aid us in emailing parents and also that will allow us to text parents :-) Very happy as I've been after something like this for the 3 years I've been here!
  23. Yep me too
  24. Just seen this on the Red Dwarf facebook page. 50 Best Red Dwarf Quotes - TV - ShortList Magazine Some quality lines :-)
