As TMCD35 says you will need to go to Volume Licenses if you want to buy 2013 and use 2010 from my understanding. Going VL doesn't mean you have to sign up to yearly costs though I believe you can just buy a Volume. Be aware you can also buy Second hand Volume licenses which can reduce the cost and it is 100% legal (just most people don't tell you that!)

Havn't used VDI in a box but i have used VMware View (now VMware Horizon View). Also Xen Desktop is now supported on VMware ESXI if you have VMware ESXI enviroment already.

My comment was more drawn to make sure they are looking at the same thing - if they are using BT's dns and it has stale records or is up the swanny (which with it being BT is possible).

On the exchange box do an MX lookup for the domains in question (type nslookup at cmd then set q=mx and the domain after). Query both the domains against your local DNS servers (what do these forward to??) and then against googles DNS servers directly 8.8.8.8

to me that suggests the issue isn't with exchange.

I did it at my last place - from what i hear it works although i left before it quite got installed!

Have done it to one server and all went ok - if i remember rightly it disables the services but that could have been one of the other service packs.

You don't have any smart hosts configured to forward mail onto do you? Or if your using Smoothies anti-spam I guess that is your smarthost but does that forward onto anything?

Is on the the Features within Fog and used to use that.

Well if its up in April you have looked a little late - lead time on most Leased lines is 90 days.

with the firewalls I have some in middle east and can manage it just as easy as i would one sitting next to me!

From the point of view of people that sell systems - its deal registration basically to safe guard yourself against others. Normally when you at a slightly more advanced stage then just having met somebody at a show!

Yup I'm trained in it! If you have any questions about how it works etc let me know and as you say yes it is 100% free although when you sign up expect a sales call but you are not tied into anything.

When i worked out the UPS requirements for having switches, phone system, routers, modems, fibre converters etc all on the UPS it was a few k to get decent uptime. I just put in an annalogue phone in reception area for emergency calls and SLT where happy with that.

If i am honest I have to completely disagree with that comment - depending on what you buy with those companies they tend to be just as good if not better! My old stones have 5 year on site warranty for less than dells!
