Yup I know that - but otherwise i lose the plate as it can't go on my new car. Unless there is anybody with the same name as me there isn't much point in me selling mine!

I have a personal plate which I was bought as a present. It has now come where i need to transfer this plate to a another car (which I don't own). When i fill in the forms, does the cars original plate get returned to it, or another one of that year? It looks like the issue was to do with the EFM modem, it had pairs which where flakey and I think as they came up and down it was sending the router into a tizz. Should have updated!

Never used ThinKiosk but another which is paid for and works along the same lines is VDIBlaster. Did you talk to Igel directly? Or through a reseller? We deal with the partner guys so they are more trying to make us sell more! But they are not the cheapest but one of the clients has over 300 and only ever had 1 fail.

The IGel Clients I recommended are actually Linux based (but support later versions of RDP etc I think). They also come wit a clever management software (which is free if you buy an igel). This then gives full managability of the devices remotely including profile provisioning (i.e you setup one and all the others get the config as they should).

Personally I would go with what I mentioned above. Normally I would recommend VMware for the Hypervisor but Hyper-V is getting better. 1 x 3 node cluster HP DL360/380 Gen8 around 100gb ram Dual 8 core Xeon. (Or what you require plus 30-50%), say if you use 50GB in each host put in at least 80 as this gives the ability to lose a host and the cluster carry on. SAN - Take a look at some open-e hardware supplies they will get you some high end kit custom built such as broadberry, very pc etc. You can custom design it to your requirements mix of SAS/SSD drives with a very intelligent easily managed interface. This will also support Active-active clustering which could be a future need. Networking - I would try and go 10GB ISCSI but to be honest 4 x 1GB iscsi links will be more than adequate as long as they are MPIO'd correctly.

You need to be careful with it but in theory it is possible. i would install veeam on a workstation and test importing the backups and restoring I wouldn't delete any data!

Yes but you will also need a copy of the license file to install into the product - AFAIK Veeam free will not talk to ESXI or Hyper-V
