Most LAs have moved away from One Personnel so no. However 1600 schools interface SIMS Personnel to Capita payroll.

Most schools rely on their MIS to do this return although some LAs do have the data and complete it on behalf of schools. I am aware that Capita's HR solution which is based on Northgate does do the SWC you are talking a different price bracket though!

I'm pretty sure that you can force widgets onto staff now.

I've realised that if you are operating under an LA licence they have the rights and could deploy to another school.

The licence is perpetual there is no requirement to pay anything to us if you are happy to remain on your existing copy of SIMS.

No I don't think they do. We show the parent's own address. This is something that we would have taken great care over.

You know that every tutor can have a home page widget that gives them all of this info & much more. It saves loads of paper!

I don't recognise the cost that has been quoted for Nova-T. Could it include training? Anyway I'd recommend double checking.

It's almost always caused by ports not being opened as required. See our documentation. I believe the console now allows you to test to see if ports are open or not. -
I don't have a list of suppliers that support B2B Open. It is an open standard and anyone can chose to implement.

You can indeed track progress etc in a highly customised way in SIMS AM - in fact we won the BETT award this year for our solution. If you PM me with your email I'll arrange to get some materials to you.

Yes if your lesson is covered it will disappear from your timetable - you're somewhere else. It is possible to mark other people's lessons though by searching for classes.

Partnership Exchange isn't really for group wide reporting. We have just begun a pilot of SchoolView which streams data from separate instances of SIMS into a reporting warehouse to allow comparisons of key data.

I don't know enough detail on this so I have asked our product team to create an advice document. We already have aspects available to use and it would be better if these were used as we can help you more.
