Ozzy and Marley my 2 ten month Patterdale Terriers.

We nearly got a Patterdale from the local dog rescue when Sandy died three years ago. At the time it was too soon and in some respects it's a good job as my wife was made redundant so now can't get home at lunch times due to her new job being 20 miles away. We both want another dog but don't think it's fair to leave them alone all day and also my dad isn't around anymore for emergencies, etc.

This was him on one of his summer holidays.

I hope that goes well. It was one of the reasons we got 3, just in case something happened to one of them there would not be one on their own, we could then take our time introducing another.

@sjatkn Yes, it worked well. Silver doesn't snuggle with George the way he did with Shadow, and George tends to be in the sleeping bit a lot and Silver out - but they do seem content with the arrangement and you do see them sitting together now and again. Sometimes Silver will sit with his head in the opening to the sleeping compartment and his nose just touches George's side - George seems quite happy with this. George previously didn't like the dog biscuits that we give Silver and our other rabbit, Che, at night, but just as his mum did, he saw Silver eating them and now he loves them! :)

Casper (my surrogate)

He's an old gent now, as my parents got him and his sister back in '96 when I went to Uni, so he'll be 17 in July!

He's very talkative, and very good at "Reminding" that he eats when Mum does!

I only get to see him on my flying visits to see Mum, but he certainly has more sense than my brother's spaniel does! (It managed to fall down a rabbit hole and break it's leg!)

Wish I didn't see this thread :( I really want a dog but can't justify can't one at the moment, then I thought about getting a cat but my whole family has dogs and would probs eat it alive, now I've seen exotic pets on here like lizards, fish and birds  I REALLY WANT A PET!

Well I now have 2 new EduPets, after having to have Molly (my previous cat) who was in her late teens put to sleep I have rehomed this mother and daughter pair.
