Rawns Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 As my (wife's, as she always tells me!) cat has crossed his 1 year birthday, I thought I'd fire up a thread for people to share a pic or two of their (Edu)pets! This is Dexter, he helps me slay zombies by punching my monitor with his paws. He also uses my arm as a scratching post... Dexter on Day one: Dexter around 8 Months: Dexter just chillin': 2
LosOjos Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I adopted this fella for a few months, seriously made me consider getting my own (if the heating costs weren't so high!) http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7175/6681597995_a6b002846c_n.jpg Bearded Dragon [AKA Colin] by Josh_Wolf, on Flickr
Rawns Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 What breed is he? Ragdoll? That he is, a Blue-pointed Ragdoll.

AMLinington Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) I'm never one to pass up an opportunity to share pics of Enzo! He's only 8 months old now and he's bigger than some of the adult cats in the neighbourhood.... There is a joke in our household that he's part Domestic cat, part Panther lol. Enzo on day 1 - He hid on the shelf under our dining room table and fell asleep on the placemats. More of Enzo We're decorating so excuse the state of the stairs. This was a few weeks after we got him. In summer he would flake out on the arm of the chair in the breeze from the windows. He likes watching TV. This is quite recent - he always sits on my lap whenever I sit down on the sofa Chillin' I've given up trying to get him to stop lying on my pillow, drinking out of my water glass (better that than the toilet...) and jumping on the work surfaces. We go through a LOT of dettol in our house.... Edited January 11, 2013 by AMLinington 1
LosOjos Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I had loads of them living in the garden in Australia. They're surprisingly active and playful, plus in Australia you wouldn't need a huge halogen bulb eating through your bank balance for 12 hours a day!
spookyspoof Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Pepsi looking very expectant of a dog treat....
LosOjos Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Oh and there's my dog... technically my mom's dog now, but she still only answers to me http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6181/6066858273_af5b55bc3d_n.jpg [Project365 - Day 7] Molly by Josh_Wolf, on Flickr

I was a little surprised when i found out they swim. I saw about 5 of them jump in the Brisbane river and happily swim away.
elsiegee40 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Meet Joe. He's Testudo Graeca Graeca for those who want to know a "Greek" Mediterranean Spur Thigh (from Algeria actually). He was my husband's 7th birthday present back in 1970. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff404/Joes_Mum/Joe/Joe002-1.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff404/Joes_Mum/Joe/My18th046.jpg And this is our tropical aquarium. Current occupants: 1 Bristle Nose Catfish (we've had him for 12 years!), 2 Clown Loach, 1 Golden Sucking Loach, 2 Corydoras, 3 Golden Barbs, 3 Harlequins, 4 Pentazona Barbs, 1 Cherry Barb, 2 xRay Tetras and 5 Ruby Barbs. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff404/Joes_Mum/Joe/P1050572_zpse7c5e6f5.jpg 1

Netwacky87 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Would seriously love to have a German Shepard dog but both me and the missis works fulltime and its unfair to the dog to leave it for that long! One man and his dog!
AMLinington Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Hex | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Hex, my big, oh so patient hulking boy cat. It must be something about Black cats - Enzo is quite chunky too and everyone I know that has a black cat says they are larger than their other cats. I'd also like to share two more kitties dear to me: Truffle (RIP) She died last year but she was very dear to me and I miss her immensely Tigga (technically still my cat, but still lives with my parents as she's old and happy there. She always preferred my Dad to me anyway) Edited January 11, 2013 by AMLinington 2

Rawns Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 My house is infested with these things: They keep trying to steal my lunch. My cat can help you out there! Cats do seem to be the dominant pet of choice here for Geekers at the moment.
