  1. I've only just seen this as have broken my leg - but thanks for this! I'm still looking for other ways to cut down on plastic - its amazing how much you see when you realise and try and cut back!
  2. I've been using solid deororant from Lush for years, Aromaco,(I love it!) husband has just swapped to it and it lasts for ages. Also the soild shampoos from there, and they've just got solid shower gels - good but don't seem to last that long. Making lunches yourself helps, we get massive bags of crisps / sweets etc and just decanter them into the box (has compartments). Reusing water bottles Use paper straws at home also I would defo use a butchers or green grocers if there were any around. I struggle with poo bags for the dogs
  3. i just seen this - not sure if this would help "Tinnitus • If your tinnitus only occurs when your environment is too quiet, chances are that it will disappear if you keep gently stimulating your hearing with a faint background noise. If your tinnitus is permanent, rain noise can be used as a mask, and will provide you with a temporarily but resourcing relief." from : https://rain.today/

  15. I take glitter out with me when we have a get together, night out, party, holidays etc - i love it!! get people saying they love it cos they are finding bits of it weeks after and reminds them of a good night out. It does end up everywhere!!!! However I did recently go to a Halloween Party and glitter-bombed some rooms and the stairs on the sly, unfortunately one of the hosts was not impressed and was hoovering up at 3am... I kept quiet but think she suspected me We also send birthday cards with glitter / confetti in - my mates and family know to be prepared!

  23. I'm not a cat person either - but I'm in awe of this cat.... i love the way it pounces on the dog and chases it away. I still can't understand the complete un-prevoked attack from the dog.... it was quite sly in the way it approached the child. It doesn't appear to be wearing a collar either. Glad the child is okay thanks to the puddy cat...
  24. I know I don't work in a school - but there are hardly any staff in today, and I'm finding it hard to get motivated... Here my view at present (sadly wildlife was absent at this point!)
