After a few days off last week i come in to be greeted with our SAN down and it will not come back up! stuck on initializing! Warranty expired in March this year. of the joy! needless to say i am not having a good day!

Have any of you attempted this? We are thinking of hosting student resources there, the students already have a google account for email, we get loads of free storage etc seems a logical step. we dont want or need anything complex as our syllabus is simple and students all learn and study a the same/similar. thoughts?

yep i play full 1080p videos quite often. its a great system - best money i have spent in a long while for the amount of use i get out of it. a great feature i have found is the ability to use my tv remote to control it via hdmi!

i use XBMC (on a Pi!) as a player and as such use SMB shares but also have a backup of serviio running.

i worked in an RM school. it involved rebuilds all the time, when updates were out some would require rebuilds to all stations. new school is none RM, rebuilds are only needed if a rebuild is quicker that solving an issue or is needed ie new HDD. makes life so much easier!

honestly the support is great! when i started here i had never seen it, didn't give it much thought, after a month or so of being there we got a 'how are things' call from them from which we arranged a tour of the product and explained the support. they are really nice people and seem a great company. we use it loads now. its really powerful! from remote msi installs to remote task manager.... no i am not a sales rep lol

could really do with picking someones brains about Cisco Unity and Call Manager. Specifically setting up auto attendant/switchboard. Our office want a 'Press 1 to speak to....' I did a test the other week on my line and it worked, now i cant for the life of me find the guide I used. If any one can render assistance I would be eternally grateful.

do i have to work longer hours? if so i want to be paid accordingly. will the holiday calander be shorter? i should be able to book time off in term time. although saying that where i work we have less holidays (4 in summer) and the kids to 8-4 mon and fri, 8-5 tue, wed, thurs. its bloody tiring tho! i do 720-410 and was in saturday just gone, sometimes a week off isnt enough. to note i am still restricted to booking holiday outside of term time with the exception of TOIL days.

We are looking to host a whole load of resources online for students at minimal cost. each student needs a login etc. To this end we are thinking Google Drive. The students already use GMail. Has anyone any experiencing with Google Sites? I have looked at a few example sites and they dont seem overly professional. I am also looking at Joomla and Wordpress Plugins - any advice or experience here?

WALK. Myself and my SO went the other year for her birthday, we got off the train from CDG at about Notre Dame and walked from there to the Eiffel Tower and several places inbetween. Although we only stayed for one night so wanted to see alot and walk around. NOTE: if you are thinking of going to the louvre, take lots of money and be prepared to queue!
