Had an email from this company about some training courses. Was just wondering had anybody on here used them, and if so were the courses any good?

Never heard of them myself but that doesn't mean they aren't any good.

My network manager and the previous technician here both used Neos, I have some of the documentation still they provided for 2003 AD which is nice and detailed. I also have a few friends who have used them and highly recommended them along with several people on here.

I did a couple of courses with them a few years back, and they were pretty good. They base there courses around practical uses with a few of the official Microsoft components thrown in. I was pretty happy with what they did, helped me quite a bit when i took them. Would use them again, but as they are based in Worcester (just off the main street), i had to stay in a hotel for the course duration with budget cuts not beed able to do anymore.

I've had a few courses with them. One where I went down to their place in Worcester and the others they came out to our facilities. Pretty good courses, but like all training it can start to feel a little slow if you already have a good knowledge of parts of the material being covered.

I have heard of them before, I have not done any courses myself with them but I have never heard a bad thing about them. When I worked in Secondary School my Line Manager did some courses with them and he said they were spot on.

Done my Exchange 2007 Course with them a few years. No complaints really, excellent pricing for Schools and quite a nice lunch!

 

Would use them again, just getting into Worcester is a PITA.

We've been using NEOS for some years now and always have good feedback. (Especially the lunches at Worcester

Ive used NEOS for three courses now and have all of them to be excellent

I did at Mac OSX/ Windows domain magic triangle training with them at Worcester. From Rowley Regis (Snow Hill Line) it took 50 Mins to get there and then a 5 minute work from the station. Nice little office, clean and lunch was supplied in the pub below (home made beef burger and chips... YUM!)

 

I'd recommend them.

NEOS have done some of the FITS training in Northants for us as well ... good guys who will bend over backwards to help.

Neos-IT is one of the very few training providers that I actually have time for. Not only do they know they stuff, but they relay it across nicely (I know from personaly experience).

Yeh another +1 for NEOS.

Ive done 4 training courses with them now and the content is always very good and in depth.

 

+ i like the fact its above a jessops so i can have a look at the cameras during lunch

Not sure if I can offer advice on the edugeek forum about a product we offer, but as this may be useful I will cross my fingers and hope I don't get a slap on the wrists.

 

If travel is an issue: we deliver a large number of "satellite" courses throughout the UK for groups of schools. For example; we are running a Windows Server 2008 course for a group of schools in Bristol this half term from a school in the city centre.

 

We have some interest in WDS from schools in your area. If I had 4-5 interested technical staff we could deliver the course with you and pricing would be similar, if not better than that quoted on the eshot. Basically the more interests we have the lower the price becomes (up to a maximum of 10 delegates).

 

This way we come to you and local schools benefit from a reduced cost of the training and travel.

Another +1 for Neos. I did an ISA course in Worcester a few years ago now, and they were brilliant. And I can agree the lunches were very good too :-)
