An enormous flat screen TV to replace the 32" CRT that decided life wasn't worth living after we decorated our living room.

 

Actually, my husband bought it... and I wasn't expecting the flat screen to be that big. He claims it was essential to get a screen that size and that 'all your mates on edugeek would understand'...

 

Then again I have a thing about him buying TVs. The 32" CRT was bought in the run up to some distant football world cup and used the money intended to do up the kitchen. I was extremely unimpressed when I was told it had been ordered! The kitchen got done pdq after that!

With the Liquid cooling, and fancy audio cards it's around £4,500. It was £3,500 before I added the second Titan and they retail at roughly £1,000 each. Ideally I want 4 in the long term, just to show off.

I hydro cooled my current build but I think I'm going to go back to just hydro cooling the CPU with a H80i and leaving the GPU stock (whenever I get round to replacing it.. Looking at buying a 980TI, rumoured to be released at the end of the month, should be around £450)

 

Let's face it, water cooling is a nice enthusiast's touch, and it looks awesome, but since I'm not touching overclocks at all, there's really no point to me doing it.
