Senso here as well, deploy the client, all logged and filtered.

I look after a couple of Alternate Provision setups which would be a similar scenario. I use Senso for these, client based, so doesn't matter what internet connection they're connected to. Found it works well, reports if anything untoward is looked up. The support team are very helpful and they are happy to look at small numbers of clients.

It's a setting, in activinspire, go to settings, select dual mode activboard from the list, then touch interoperability, set to OS compatible - - - Updated - - - This seems to get reset when activinspire updates

I use both Wave and Exa at different schools i support and both work well. I would say i've had more issues with EXA regards the filtering and recently the support has been a bit on the slow side (but that is improving) Wave 9 don't natively have active reporting which i need to speak to Lee about (according to Support another product is required to give that) so be aware of that when getting a quote.

Splashtop Business/SOS i've found good a setup for accessing devices, cheaper than TeamViewer. I switched to them when Logmein started getting pricey. Did look at Quickassist, but never found it very quick as the client either needed updating or installing and talking people through it..

I've seen this behaviour at a few of my sites running unifi controller 6.4.54 (latest) Looks like in certain circumstances clients can't see the DHCP server when 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSID's are combined. Split them out (or just turn 5Ghz off for the moment) that seems to resolve it. Expect a new version will be along shortly that fixes it

Take a look at Splashtop Business, you pay per client you connect to (if i remember the lowest tier is like 25 computers) but it's cheap, reliable, works well and you can have as many technician accounts as you want to connect to them.

I found this with some of our boards/screen after upgrading staff laptops to Windows 10. Seemingly Windows 10 is a little more agressive with the power savings of certain USB chipsets. Answer was always to put a shorter cable in place. Sometimes we had to bypass wall plates and plug directly into the screen. One occasion where we needed a certain length we had to use a USB powered hub to sort it. Hope that helps

Depends how much storage you need, if it's relatively minimal then RAID 1 will do the job and keep the costs down Have a few servers at various sites that are purely RAID 1

Have been running Unifi switches just over 2 years. The only time i've had to reset is after we had some power issues and the power went off/on repeatedly in a short space of time and they weren't covered by a UPS. Run across multiple sites and they just do the job.

Have been running both us-48-750 and US-48-500's plus a couple of the 24 port models and they've been rock solid

Hi All, A MAT I look after is having an arts weekend, where children from multiple schools will be getting together to take part in various activities. They've been asked to fill in form asking for first, second and third choices. Does anyone know of any free/budget software that we can pump that info in and it allocates spaces?

For a start, i would look at an acoustic solution, i'd talk to these people https://www.woollyshepherd.co.uk/ They use shaped panels to fit with the aesthetics of the hall. It makes such a huge difference. Get that done, then look at equipment solution. 4 Speakers should be sufficient to give an even sound unless you have a very long/narrow hall, in which case directional speakers and a sound processor may be a better option
