My better half has that as well, not on the case at the moment.

@Maz your carpet looks way to clean.

EDIT: A bit like this but she has a different fascia

Nor your living room by the looks of it! :D

Care to explain what we are seeing?

hehe, the women have a lounge of their own, which is a bit tidier ;p. Starting from the TV (Sony Bravia) and going left, the stack of things, from top to bottom, Slingbox, Cisco ADSL switch/modem, HD Sattelite reciever, and a Netgear eva8000 media player.

First laptop on the left is a eee 900, then its my sony Vaio on a docking station with a 17" monitor, and then some dell i was fixing up for someone when I took the photo. The thing on the floor under the TV is a spectrum analyser - My satellite dish is on a motor but its not aligned very well, so use this to find the satellites.

;p

Pics of mine available here: Steven Baxter (UK) I have changed things slightly since these were taken (fitted two new hard disks, tidied cables, etc)

Probably going to change it sometime this/next year. The watercooling is keeping me on edge everytime I use it:eek:

Made from recycled parts! (not joking for the most part either!)

Fairly menial stuff - e6600 @ 3ghz (does 3.6 as it stands but i've really no reason to push it like that), 8gb ram, 3tb storage over raid5, geforce 8800GT. Only part of it bought new is the motherboard :D

Quad core @ 2.4ghz

4 gigs of ram

64 bit vista

1.7 TB of HD space inc 74GB Raptor system disk.

GT8800 512mb graphics

Black cooler master case.

Its cheap as chips, but runs everything inc farcry2 just fine.

Yup thats the one, except mine has a different fascia as well, it was a bundle kit about 6 or 7 years ago now so its aging nicely, thats when Lian-Li cases started at £130 for a basic one without removable drive holder, no removable mobo tray etc etc (all of which mine has!)

Here is a picture of my setup.

The iMac is a 24" 2.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4Gb RAM running OSX 10.5.6. As you may be able to see, it is running Parallels Desktop in a Window because I am doing some work for school in Office 2007. I don't own Office for the Mac, but owned 2007 before purchasing the Mac.

There are two Samsung laptops - one is a Q35 (grey one)- this is what i bought my wife about three years ago. Spec is: Intel Centrino T2400 (1.83Ghz) and has 1.24Gb of RAM. It runs Windows XP and is a cracking little machine. Very light indeed.

The second laptop (believe it or not) arrived today. It is my new school one and is a Samsung P510. I have not the specs to hand and cannot remember them. But is is running Vista Business at the moment. I will be taking it back down to XP because our LEA do not support Vista at this moment in time. It was bought by the school for me.

The third laptop is an EeePC from Acer. One of the first released. Cannot remember the spec - but it was the top spec at the time.

Finally there is my iPhone sitting next to the Mac.

The photo was taken on a Canon EOS350 whilst the Sony Video Recorded is under the desk.

early 2008 mac pro with nvidia 8800GT could do with upgrading the ram as only got 2gb in it currently. Plenty of hard drive space including a 74gb raptor though.
