Apparently it tells us something about brain function. I saw her tuning clockwise at first, but was able to see the opposite rotation also. Same here. Im a logical, maths and sciences type person, but according to the site i should be a "feelings, philosophy & religion" person.
rolfea Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I FINALLY GOT IT TO CHANGE! it wouldn't stop going clockwise then kept looking away and blurring my vision and everything and finally got it to go anti-clockwise! that's not the idea of it is it?

elsiegee40 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Clockwise at first, but can change it over... My daughter was looking over my shoulder and started arguing "how is that clockwise?" as she could only see anti-clockwise. She has now seen it both ways, but ant-clockwise predominates...
glensc Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 It took me ages to see anything other than 2 interpretations of 1 static image anyway, maybe I was too concerned for her poor twisted ankle. Once I did manage to see them as change I see switches of images but my brain doesn't seem to interpret them as moving. Not sure what that says about my brain though.

The Spinning Dancer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It did my head in then. The last time I looked at it I managed to work out how to control the direction she dances in. RabbieBurns Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 The colour coded ones above cleared it up for me. If you percieve it as her spinning on her right leg, she goes clockwise. If you see it as her left leg shes standing on, she goes anticlockwise. Before the colour coded ones I could only see clockwise. Now I can see either just by thinking about her left and right legs
