IT Technician Required - Skinners' Academy, Hackney - £20-22k
glensc replied to iainphillips's topic in Educational IT Jobs
Just emailed my application, hopefully it'll be there within the < 2 hours left as original deadline was stated as 4:30. I was intending to print it out and deliver it by hand as that way I could be sure that there was no differences in word processor setups that'd alter the layout and that it would definitely be there on time. -
Day 3 with the Pi - Honeymoons over!
glensc replied to SimpleSi's topic in Raspberry Pi, Arduino & Other SBCs
Depends what you want to do with it but Xvnc might be a better bet, seems to be the only VNC version which will use the display :0 ie the display that is coming out of the Pi, rather than another instance of a display. Basically if you want to remotely control the session on another screen ( connected to the RasPi ) with VNC then most implementations of VNC are not suitable. -

I'm intrested in going too -
Yep At a couple of times I got over a million bonus points, on quite a few occassions I got 125 bounces, per seperate shot, but never above, hence me thinking it might be a limit within the code.

1st attempt Score 553174 Bounces 972 Accidents 3 Several bonuses and highest amount of bounces I noticed was 125 a (few times so may be a limit) Slightly wacky in that with several shots left it was showing 8million and something so may even be a 10million highscor rollover

Glad that worked as I did overhear our ICT dept talking about having to do controlled assements, so that was what set me thinking about how to do it. They haven't actually asked if it's possible yet though, which I guess is par for the course -
Unfortunately this scenario seems all too farmiliar 10 Ask user what they want 20 Get wrong answer from user 30 Promise them what they asked for but will take time 40 Do something else

You used to be able to buy bottles of rectified ethyl alcohol in East Germany on the way back from West Berlin, can't remember if it was 98 or 99% by volume.
