I know we can't go out of the house apart from exercise and essentials.

I will be running, catching up on films and tv, finishing animal bench project!, learning to code and playing on my xbox.

So what is everyone up this weekend?

getting the power washer out and cleaning the driveway tomorrow for my parents since I'm still living at home the maybe do some more cisco training then probably continue our dnd campaign with my friends and just game and relax

Much the same - doing all the glosswork through the house. Slowly; 2 weeks left of first round of furlough, and 6 doors still to do. Don't want to run out too soon.

Same as every weekend... games... trying to get my LoL rank up!

Been meaning to try and learn guitar so might try a few courses, issue i have atm is my finger tips get sore too quickly so making sure to do a bit everyday to harden them up.

Guitar player's tip. Use a tiny amount of superglue to coat your fingers. Automatic calluses!

If I haven't picked up one of my guitars for a long while I often do this to ensure I can get a good 2-3 hours playing time.

Weather dependant, put some wax on the car, washed it last night, cut the grass if it stays dry and finish some painting I started 2 years ago. Amongst that I want to finish sorting some pictures out from last year, some filing to do and general tidy of the house.

If I achieve all that I will be amazed.

Just going to enjoy a few days off work! While working at home, I’m still desk and phone contact bound so a long weekend off that will be good!

Otherwise; running and fitness, bit of work on the car, quiz night, maybe some groundwork. If the weather stays good, will be some much needed recharge!

Stuff round the house. Definitely want to put up a stair gate as the cat is getting a bit infirm and has had a couple of tumbles, and create end caps for the second composter that we picked up at the dump a few months back. (Sun-Mar 400 that had the two end caps missing). Maybe start tidying/sorting the garage and/or filing cabinet.

Plus, now that I've got into it, carry on with Mass Effect: Andromeda.

This is the first time I've had for this sort of thing for a while as I've been working from home.

Really exciting weekend planned

riding bike - along roads to avoid close passes with humans - close passes with cars may be safer at the moment

washing car

cleaning inside of car (wife would be amazed at that - but she won;t see it as she is stuck inside!!!)

may go totally mad an break out some shorts - so if NASA report a sudden increase in light reflected back from the Earth's surface it is my legs)

if I can get to a suitable shop without hanging around with humans then I will consider cooking a proper roast for Sunday dinner

Oh - and am going to surprise my wife with an Easter egg as she can't get out

in the spaces I will get on with Battlestar Galactica

not sure I can stand the excitement

Thanks will give that a go!

Just to add: do make sure it's a very small amount, at least to start with - Superglue can produce a suprising amount of heat when it reacts with your skin.

Building some more raised beds from spare wood I have lying about. Mrs southhamster is growing as much veg as she can. We also have loads of flowers which she planted earlier so the house is full of tulips at the moment!

I intend to do some gardening and re-coating wooden planters and the shed. May do a BBQ for the kids too.

I shall save the fun of stripping and re-sealing the bath for a weekend that is a bit grotty.

We’re doing a barbecue tonight to mark the start of the long weekend. After that plans are undetermined, but we have about a tonne of soil dug out from the pond that we need to get into a more tidy heap pending when we are able to hire a skip. I shall make hot cross buns tomorrow having unexpectedly secured a bag of strong flour today!

Staying away from anything to do with IT Support.

I've been looking into Hydroponics, so i'll probably be looking to research that.

Yup - put the glue on your fingers then pick the guitar up IMMEDIATELY afterwards - then you won't forget where you put it!

(note - DO NOT do this!!!!)

Sounds interesting - be careful about what sites you look at - it is used for some dodgy crops!!!!!

Indeed it is - that said the methods first developed for growing cannabis have fed back in to legitimate uses as the drug growers found some innovative ways to do things. I'll try to find the article...

I’m going to turn the “Office” back into a conservatory/dining room in 40 minutes.

We have finished our DIY painting, so I might create some Lego or make something with the wood I have lying about.

Lamb on Sunday and an unexpected Click and Collect slot appeared so getting shopping on Monday.

Enjoy the 4 day weekend Edugeeks

Gods help you when you come to sell; that'll be 'orrid to cover!

Ah we figure if you live in a house but don't decorate the way you want because one day you might want to sell, then you're not really getting any pleasure from it there and then.

Can't see a point in not having your house decorated in a way that makes you happy. We have bright colours everywhere, art painted directly onto walls in a couple of rooms.

Black gloss on the skirts, door frames and stairs is gonna be the least of our problems if we went to sell. :)
