Yesterday took my car for the service, family of four in the waiting room, non of the staff wear face mask, just face shields. After so many months and so much information people still making these mistakes? On the good side, my uncle 93 got both doses of vaccine already, was really worried about him.

Local flooding meant we had to go “the long route” as some lanes are closed. All very efficiently organised by the army. Once in our cubicle, orders were definitely barked “Blow your Nose! Put your tissue in the bin! Gel your hands! Turn round and face me!” [emoji3] We passed as we were able to follow instructions... some took a bit longer after failing to understand the bit about don’t let your swab touch anything and putting it down on the table [emoji57] Edited February 2, 2021 by elsiegee40 Stuck a swab up my nose not a swan :D

I wonder if that's related to size and distribution of their citizens. The did only start mid January mind, so will be interesting to watch progress. Surface transmission, which was the primary concern, is no longer considered to be as important.

It's all hush hush as officially the government says there is no need, but the LA and local NHS trust have chucked some our way.

TIOAOA Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 We are a SEN Secondary and the council have given all our staff the option of getting the jab also. Had mine at the weekend, all very organised and no queuing, in and out in 20 minutes, 15 of that was the wait after in case of any reactions.

My governor secondary school has reported the same - with 100% participating in two year groups!
