Danp Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Looks like CPOMS has been added to Google's unsafe list, we get the red screen when we try and login. Anyone else getting this? It's fine in IE 1
localzuk Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Yup. Seeing that here too. Just checked a couple of our login pages and RED! 1
IrritableTech Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 We have reported this to CPOMS - they are aware. 2
bknaggs Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I'm not seeing it in Chrome but I am seeing it in Firefox. 1
AJWhite1970 Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Been winding staff up that they broke CPOMS if they were phoning our helpdesk this morning #littlethings 2
BFCIT Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Issue here at school with Chrome too, fine in IE. Hopefully resolved soon! 1
chinesewhispers Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) Ditto, not when using Chrome on iOS though... Edited May 22, 2019 by chinesewhispers
kjadams Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 We fixed this issue by adding schoolname.cpoms.net to our Chrome GPO. Setting located at User Configuration > administrative templates > google > google Chrome > safe browsing settings > configure the list of domains on which Safe Browsing will not trigger warnings. 2
localzuk Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I'd prefer to have the originating issue resolved rather than bypassing it. If Google have detected dodgy activity coming from the CPOMS servers, I want to know what it is before advising staff to bypass such warnings. 1
RextheRunt Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Looks like Google have now fixed it - all working again this morning!
BFCIT Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Anybody experiencing this issue again? Google Chrome is displaying Deceptive Site / phishing warning for us this morning on CPOMS, fine on IE and Edge.
AJWhite1970 Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Yup - just had my first call of the day about it....
bknaggs Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Here Chrome is fine and Firefox is giving the error. I'm wondering if I've disabled something in Chrome to block these messages appearing.
RextheRunt Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 OK Here so far - still working at 2 sites! Google Chrome Version 75.0.3770.80 (Official Build) (64-bit) Will keep monitoring.....
MYK-IT Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Yes, had a few calls about this today. Spoke with CPOMS they are aware of the issue - advised to use IE (if users are not happy to click [Details] and [visit this unsafe site] within Chrome).
RextheRunt Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Don't know why we had a delay but it's happening here now?
