newpersn Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Currently with Koncia for printer/copier rentals Just wondered what other company's are out there?
djm968 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Using Sharp MFDs across our MAT, no major issues so far.
RLR Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 We use systems technology which have leased us Ricoh MFDs and small Black and White cannon printers. Been pretty good so far.
speckytecky Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 (edited) We are using Sharp through an excellent Keynsham based small company called Ridgemill; I won't post the company's URL because sadly we do have lurkers on the Forum who seem to have developed a new hobby of reporting posters who they feel are promoting companies, in, it must be over 10 years as a Forum member that's left me feeling decidedly miffed Edited September 14, 2017 by speckytecky
RobD Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 (edited) Heard good things about Commercial Ltd (in Cheltenham) who push out Sharps. Edited September 14, 2017 by RobD
mikeprice Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 We have just renewed ours with BM Digital - seem to do what they should managed to negotiated the price down quite a bit this year - probably due to giving them more competition
unixman_again Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Midshire here. We used to be with Danwood but SMT wanted a change.
localzuk Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 We're Ricoh customers here - direct with the company, no reseller.
FN-GM Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 We consolidated 7 leasing companies in our MAT down to 1. Sharp, Richo, Capita Konica were a few. We gave the contact to these guys and they have beaten the others with their service hands down. Sharples Group ? Your business partner for document production, distribution, storage and retrieval
nadeem Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 We use Sharp (direct) for our range of MFDs) - excellent support. Happy to share details our our account manager if anyone wants them Thee have good pricing for both buying or leasing
Sylv3r Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 We've added our printers to our MDF contract with Canon direct. In the two years we've literally had one callout to replace a faulty drum unit - can't fault them.
ass17 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 We use Weaver Bomfords, looking to go all the way with follow me printing via paper cut...
free780 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Midshire here. We used to be with Danwood but SMT wanted a change. Why? They have now been brought by Apogee.
CHU Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Vickers, leasing us Ricoh equipment. Great service and remote metering so we always have toner on hand but not so much that it’s a pain to store. We moved from BBT because of cost.
mukz Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We went sharp direct. Excellent service compared to old leasing company (wont mention name unless someone who wants to really know can pm me)
DGardiner Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Why? They have now been brought by Apogee. all the more reason to move- cant fault the repairs/service guys but the account management is dire but i think he knows he messed us around and the contracts won't be renewed with him so we've been abandoned. were in the middle of switching to United Carlton as contracts expire at least so far they've won all the tenders
kirbster73 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Am looking at leasing. What sort of cost savings do you guys make from leasing. Currently in a school where they buy everything, printers, toners, drums etc. They must be paying a fortune but due to the way they allocate budgets, they can't tell me their spend. I'm starting to track the toners, cartridges etc that we're buying but wanted to know what sort of pricing you have and how much you reckon you save in real terms. Presume there is labour saving too?
