Geoff Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Yeah the tracker is broken. Also if you keep getting stuck capturing pokemons. Wait until the loading pokeball stops spinning before you attempt a capture. That seems to make it more reliable.

I didnt realise that ball actually stopped spinning, will try that though because I seem to crash after every capture atm. you can help keep the battery life be turning the screen off it will make a noise and vibrate if there is owt near (says someone who dosent lol)ive not had many server issues though ive noticed it chashes on capturing more for me at least if i have ar mode off. Judging from what people have said and ingress data im heading to roundhay park after work looks like loads of pokestops and aparantly lots to catch and only a few miles (in the wrong direction though) from where i finish work today lol Once I have actually managed to log into the game my battery isnt too bad, its just trying to open the app that drains the hell out of my battery for some reason (probably because I spend so longing trying to get the game to load).

I think the map changes colour when the swap happens. Purple at night from memory.

The mechanics are fun enough, but I'd like to have to use my 'mons for something other than Gyms (which there are none of in the visible range that I can see in Bentley). Other than that, and the fact there's not much of anything in what seems to be most of my village, there just seems to be something missing that gives it value.
