Ive seen that they have patented the idea of NFC cards to transfer Pokemon by the looks of it.

I don't doubt they've applied - it just seems some patents are so vague that they could cover anything. I'm thinking of going for, "Oral delivery device to mitigate and reverse the effects of cancer". I'll be rich when someone finds a cure ! (Unless it comes in a form other than a pill - must revise wording).

I go on the app from time to time if im in a place where i know pokemon appear (Tesco car park, for example) but other than that, generally not.

yeah i found when playing it rather than walking through woods/ the trail behind my house if i wanted to catch mon the best place to go was the big asda at pudsey lol just hold phone on trolley handle and catch while you shop

as to getting a switch if you like jrpgs i can recommend xenoblade chromicles 2 that games great ive sunk 310 hours into it so far and bought the controller, soundtrack and expansion pass(game/new game+/post game and they add stuff monthly )

best place i have found around me is sherwood forest, if i want a nice walk but town center is also good. not the best variety of Mons but lots of gyms and poke stops

as i understand it the frequency of mons was/is based on gps "pings" so a "tourist attraction" (its been a while since ive been to sherwood forest) should rank high (ditto asda etc) its jsut anoying when the local wood has a nice trail with stops and a gym but naff all to catch and i think thats what eventually made me give up that and my inability to catch a lapras made worse when they blocked all the sites that said x will be here until x time

so maybe you can transfer Pokemon in to POGO and vice versa, also i think the POGO aspects in the game will be the POGO capturing system if you play it in handheld mode

My biggest issue with local groups is they very often have younger kids in and A) I wanna stay away because employment and B) I just don't like kids

Anyone play this these days? Took it up over lockdown to keep my head focused on something and I'm still going. Edging towards level 42 now. It's quite a challenge to keep winning battles and finding ways to new ways to improve.
