Hello, Been asked to put a live feed webcam onto a wordpress site, so people can check the view before they head over or something so i know the webcam has an external fixed ip and is setup to broadcast or at least thats what the installers say is there a plug-in for wordpress that anyone else has used as the one i looked at whisper something is getting really dodgy reviews Ta

Right I've been asked as a side job (so getting paid) to look after a architects office new start-up. seems like a fairly easy gig, support when they need it in the hours im not at work, now they want me to be able to remote onto their computers and take control to fix problems all the normal stuff, not a problem being doing that sort of stuff for years. but heres the problem only been doing it in schools where we have smoothwall so can remote in through that. as this is a private client they wont have that so what do any of you use to RDP? dont mind paying but would prefer not to spend too much

Morning, Been a while but school are finally getting a new server, but what do i need licencing wise? looking at server 2019 we don't have a EES agreement, the school has always bought computers with pro licences on them and then the licences for office from the council so what do I actually need to buy? I know I'll need the licence for server 2019, but do I need cals aswell? or are they part of buying pro licences? Is there anything else we need? spoke to a unhelpful licence lady the other day and I'm now more confused than I was before. Cheers

Hello people, Where do you get your parts for Laptops from? need a load of keyboards for toshiba's, as the kids have nicked the keys had a quick search and someone wanted 50quid for one. James

Right in one of our classrooms we have a projector but no smartboard, now I seem to remember the last time I went to BETT there was some devices that allowed you to turn any surface into a touch surface but I cant for the life of me remember what they were called or if they'd work out cheaper than buying a smartboard for that room anyone remember what they were or if you have one, are they any good? The phone was syncing everything, but for some reason it stopped doing it in January So she has all the photos up to January but its all the one since then that she wants. Couldn't take the battery out as its a sealed unit, as its meant to be waterproof

Arrrh, Wife's phone is a Sony Xperia z5 compact, which according to Sony is waterproof. Sadly it is not. Now doesn't turn on, anyone know any companies or people that might be able to get the data off it? don't need the phone to work any more just want all the photos off it. Help, Bulb went on the projector, so purchased a new bulb, turn it on and bulb lights up for a few seconds then goes off, then comes back on for a few seconds then goes off, does this several more times then red status light comes on the power and bulb seen this in other projectors when the bulb has died before you could reset the timers but cant find a way round this one. Projector is a Hitachi cp-a221n Cheers

Ok had a quick search and couldn't find anything got a surface 4 pro thats been trying to update to 1709 since last month, in the update history it just keeps saying install failed, then today it says install needs a restart to finish its been restarted at least four times and its still saying it, running windows update just loops, says its downloading then preparing to install anyone got any ideas?

Cant do oil, as there's no where to put the tank outside, house is a bit weird, garden is 50ft away through next doors garden garage is a bit further than that but you have to go on the road to get to that. already have a stove in and have a lot of access to wood which is why i was looking at a boiler stove straight replacement and then just need the heating side.

Sorry been busy No access to Gas in the village, house was built in 1750ish so no cavity walls to fill, wasn't thinking about cooking on it as it'd be in the lounge, just want something other than storage heaters (which are shit) to heat the house.

Afternoon, I'm sure I saw a few years back people talking about putting in boiler stoves, Am I going daft as I couldn't find anything. Anyway has anyone done it? Already have a stove, looking at replacing it with a boiler stove to run heating as the house doesn't have any. All the guides say its easy but I'm yet to speak to anyone who's done it Don't need it to run hot water (yet) just radiators thinking five. James
