Hi Liam, Thanks, first of all this is great and we will be migrating over. Can I add a feature request, We have three different centre numbers depending on the exam board so a drop down would be nice to stop the extra work of having to go back in and change it. Ill ask the exam officer when they are back in tomorrow as I cant remember which one if for each board, but that could be a nice option in the settings file Also the printing margin on the top of the page cut off half the text on our photocopiers

Hi, did you ever manage to get this working, as Im currently building power bi dashboards and since class charts doesn't seem to provide any real data access or intergration, and as much as it would be a pain to recreate all the behaviours in bromcom again it would at least to provide me with an way to pull a data feed

We have found if you set it to primary monitor instead of automatic(if your on duplicate) it works as duplicate. If your using presenter view then selecting the other screen as your primary monitor fix it and show the presenter view on your actual primary

It can be a bit fussy over what version of JRE is installed. and sometimes needs me to log on with admin access to apply an update after install or if they have done a database upgrade in the cloud. I havent managed a silent installer. Since its only on 2 pcs I just did it manually.

Sounds daft but we have had issues were the more complex copiers will fail on a print and do nothing but the simpler ones will print. Also check your copiers have been updated and registered in the portal I had to do this last week with the update

Ive just set up Intune over the summer to do it with 100 iPads, federated apple to azure so everyone gets a iCloud account linked to their school email. Since we already have Intune for our pcs worked out as a non added cost. Works quite nicely appart from having to sign in multiple times to get to the point of a fully managed device. But that may be how I followed the guides.

It's the new app, ive just watched it work fine on a rebuilt machine, then update to 24124.2310.2880.4371 and it break. The assignment app icon is disappearing from both versions.

Hi is anyone else having issues with MS Teams assignments saying this bot is disabled when clicking on the post in a teams channel. We have also seeing the assignments app dissapear from the left hand side of teams. This has been happening for past day or so. Seems a bit random students and machine wise. Found one post of reddit of someone else having the issue. Has also happened in the web version. I have assigned/pinned the assignments to org-wide to see if that would sort it but it hasnt.

Are you runing uniflow secure print by any chance ? If so you can just upgrade the msi installer in uniflow to use the canon driver and then install that as Windows MSI line-of-business app. Log on to an administrator uniflow account, go to Extenstions > uniflow smartclient > Installer configuration and creation >Manage installers click on the verion you want click the edit button change the printer driver and click the update installer button

Not if you deploy this way with system context at least for canon drivers. I couldn't get this to work with oliveti drivers but I think that was more to do with our outdated drivers for older printers.

Just checked mine, you need the Value name to be Name It to looks for the string called Name then the value of what you have set the printer to be called.

Yep we had one for a while for use with a student who had only passed through the doors a couple of times due to complex mental issues. It worked for a while with him but ultimately didn't lead to a successful reintegration. I dont think that was a lot to do with the tech. It was a ok bit of kit, the council team involved sent it over to us to get set up so no idea on actual price. Only one user phone/tablet app user can be locked to the device at one time so you can't use it for multiple students on a reduced timetable. I discovered in my testing and training with staff as we had to wait until my app was unregistered from the device for the student to use it. Teachers said the reaction things were good feedback but a bit of the distraction for the rest of the class if its head suddenly lit up but got used to it after a while. A few times it did loose connection although I couldn't diagnose if it was his end, our end or just the student switching off. I think its original design was for the likes of children unable to attend due to other reasons like chemo or other long term sickness and for those it would be great if they want to be in school but for a reason they cant.

In intune you can add under the teams configuration settings. However it only really works from an update. Prevent Microsoft Teams from starting automatically after installation (User) Enabled Never really found a reliable method for this and its become less of an issue since rolled out the new teams app appart from the DfE HP laptops which take an age.

Anyone have any updates on this problem as we are facing similar issues. But after watching the ANME conference video i'm thinking 802.1x is probably the way to go for to be compliant with the DFE standards

You can probably use Microsoft Power Automate (used to be called Powerflow) to do this and add a few flows to customise it to what you want.

Yep we have had this as well. Disabled PIRs auto wake up on the panel settings seemed to fix the issue (Or at least it hasn't been re-reported again in a while).

We use withdrawal groups for for our behaviour support room and longer project based groups. As it gives a register and removed the pupils from the class reg they should be in. Ive attached a report I had to produced for the SLT which shows how many periods they have been in each of these groups. Good for PP funding reports and for behaviour reports.
