I have original pebble, and its great if you just want notifications, without digging phone out of your pocket. It does lose bluetooth sync with my Note 4 about once a day tho. Battery life is great. I brought a leather band as the rubbery one made it hot and sweaty.

My wife has gear 2 and that's also great but she has to charge every day / every other day.

I was looking at the moto 360 and the LG R, but they just seem like alot of money for not much more functionality (i'd use).

I have £6,300 a month with nothing to do with.

Send some my way if you want. We could arrange something... I could fix your computers or whatever ;)

You get in 2 months what I earn in a year pre-tax

Maybe I need to move out of DA NORF.

Moto 360 2nd gen here, works like a charm, never had any problems with it (touch wood). Syncs nicely to the Moto X Play.

Shame about the 'flat tyre', but it surprisingly becomes unnoticeable quickly.

I had a Fitbit surge. It was ok but in less than 6 months of everyday wear it had split in the band and a split on the back where the bank connects to the watch. All in all it was ok but the build quality is/was shocking. Got the other half a Charge HR at the same time and low and behold the same has happened to hers.

We both bought Apple watches late last year and they have been brilliant. I should have just got one before getting the Fitbits but you live and learn I suppose.

I would deffo recommend the Apple Watch but it is a bit pricy for what it is and it's not everyone's cup of tea. Like you I have the iPhone 6 and the integration is fantastic. Apple Pay is easy and fantastic, use it all the time.

my point really had nothing to do with income it was that is £900 for an apple watch which if we are being honest is expensive and it an expected shelf life of what say 5 years tops , its nothing to do with desposible income , now my tag watch was not cheap but nice and functional however it will still be worth that or more in 30 years and still performing its job not obsolete or unservicable like the apple watch

Terms and Conditions apply..... hmmmm... wonder where / what they are ;)

I reckon it's the "win" part of the header image. Take the trial and be entered into a draw which you'll never hear about again. Cynical, me, never :p

I got my Asus Zenwatch 2 on Saturday as an early birthday present, very very pleased with it. Love the fact I can leave my personal phone on my desk and I still see messages on my watch when I am the other side of school

I don't like doing that. I'm in a primary and the kids love to touch the damn thing. Can you imagine if I got a message of one of my friends with swearing? Pretty sure I would get my watch confiscated ;)

Absolutely not! Salaries are pretty much the same everywhere except London and you are far more likely to be able to buy a house where you are than further south where property is silly money.

I would indeed recommend it. The only problem I have is that the battery goes battery goes down quite fast. But that might be down to how I have got it setup.

@DalekSec

The leather bands are rather good.

With screen off by default and wifi off, I get ~4 days on a Moto 360v2. WiFi seemed a bit pointless when it can grab stuff via bluetooth from the phone.

I thought it was my setup, mine is set to have the screen always on.
