localzuk Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 I'm sure it'll have more bugs than a decomposing pile of rubbish. But, it'll still be interesting just to see the world they've created. Half the fun of the earlier games was simply exploring and seeing everything! I'm definitely looking forward to it, that's for sure.

ZeroHour Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 It is a PC game tbh, the only reason they have the bullet time function is to make it simpler on consoles. I have heard graphically its not great but we can hope for a HD texture mod at some point in the future on PC.

Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. But I'm not in any massive rush. There will surely be launch issues, early-days patches etc. Edit: There have been massive framerate issues on consoles, though, included large FPS drops when zoomed in, Although apparently disabling 'Godrays' (whatever those are) and running it in Borderless Windows mode produces a huge FPS increase on PC, so a few teething issues everywhere, really. truebluesteve Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I'm very excited - mine should arrive for the PS4 today! As for the graphics - I'm not sure why people seem to get obsessed by them - Fallout and Bethesda games in general have always been about the gameplay. Yep there will be bugs (Skyrim on the PS3 anyone?) but they do open-world so very well and I have forgiven them in advance :-)

Therefore he's bringing his xbox controller into work, installing Steam on his works machine, and playing it in the office, since with only 2 of them there they're not capable of getting any work done xD

Arreks Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Been playing it for about 2 hours this morning, it's good. Had to change the FOV through the ini file because they lock it at like 60/70 or something. God Rays also takes a huge FPS hit so turn that down to low!

Yes, although I can't imagine there would've been too many last night, I've still been very careful about what Fallout threads I've read on Reddit, and I haven't read any official reviews at all.
