Marci Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) Hmmm - a reply here, or here? EDIT: so replies on the article show up in both places, but replies on the forum remain in the forum. Do you get a prize for also working out which reply counts? Edited July 31, 2015 by Marci

Norphy Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Happy Sysadmin Day. Just a shame for us that it happens in the middle of the period where there is no-one to show their appreciation
john Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Happy Belated SysAdmin's day all, I decided to take some time off from work and relax at home to celebrate
GrumbleDook Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 'Twas the night before SysAdmin day and all through the school could be heard the utterance, "oh no, the bloody tool!" As techie and geek are sat in despair as they acknowledge the problem between keyboard and chair. The servers where humming in racks tall and cool and the muttering continues, "The stupid old fool!" The dulcet tones rant high and rant lo As they sigh at the depths a virus can go "How many pictures?" is followed by a jaded, small laugh when finding those snaps of the holiday in Bath A recover job for that friendly deputy head Who is probably now tucked up and snoring in bed But after Recuva and Wise Data have completed their job And you have stopped calling people, "neanderthal ... idiots!" Away to your home for a few hours sleep Then back to your day job you know you will creep ... And there let us find you surrounded by cheer Whether chocolate, wine, roses, books or some beer And know that you are appreciated by many a user And the others ... will find out who is BoFH and who is Luser! Hope everyone had a good day. 1
pete Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Sysadmin day consisted of me cursing PHP. Though the day did end with icecream. 1
clareq Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Isn't it good that sysadmin day falls on a day we are unlikely to be blessed with users?
