As we now have SKy - and hence Sky Cinema which includes Paramount or something - we appear to have Top Gun - Maverick

 

Mrs mikeprice is not in the least bit interested in it and would probably want the volume turned down - so I watched it on the laptop last night while she was watching 'something else'

 

 

 

WOW - factually, and tactically quite a few holes you could drive a bus through

 

but if you were going to make a sequel to Top Gun then that was the sequel to make

 

excellent job - especially at high volume - good job I have decent earphones!

Yep, the ending of TLOU is pretty devastating (game and show are pretty similar). Those that have played the sequel: Can't find a pic of the farmhouse at the beginning of the episode to check, but was it very similar to the one in the second game? Edited by LeMarchand

There was a shot out the window that's pretty intentionally framed so it harkens to the end of Part 2 with the tractor in view, but it's not meant to be the same farm as this is one in Boston.

The Cleaner, Series 2 (All 6 episodes available via iPlayer)

 

 

It's clean-up time.

 

After CSI have done their stuff, the cleaner mops up the grisly remains. For Wicky, a bloodbath and the pub is all in a day's work.

Just finished watching Paris Police 1905 on BBC4. Not for the fainthearted but with some humour too and a bit of insight into those times. The previous series Paris Police 1904 was great too! Subtitles, but I'd rather those than terrible dubbing.

Blue light is rubbish and not as good as Dixon of Dock Green or Life on Mars. As they don’t always get the criminal. Edited by nicholab

It ended well, though. All those old characters together, even Tuvok!

It's not finished yet! I've really enjoyed this series so far, the TNG crew are getting the send off they deserve.

 

It's quite funny watching Marina Sirtis though, she doesn't quite seem to be getting back into the swing of her "Deanna" accent and her London is getting through a lot more than it did :lol:

It's quite funny watching Marina Sirtis though, she doesn't quite seem to be getting back into the swing of her "Deanna" accent and her London is getting through a lot more than it did :lol:

 

I'm enjoying it a lot too. I have to admit though, dragging almost every living member of 90's Trek back for appearences is beginning to annoy me for some reason.

How long before we see O'Brian I wonder?

I thought we still had 2 episodes to go? And still hoping we get to see the Enterprise F on screen.

Schmigadoon is back, though it's now set in Schmicago. Finished Extraordinary; the first ep was definitely the best, but there's still lots to enjoy (mainly the bits with Ji**lord). Finally. started in on Foundation. Not exactly an easy watch, but pretty darn good so far. Wish that the main actress didn't look so young, though. We assumed she was a kid when introduced and it looked so wrong when she had a clinch with someone. Also does anyone know another show/film/book/comic/game that sees a space elevator used in the same way?

We've binged this and watched it up to date ... Have to agree about the lead . My daughter is obsessed with liv and Maddie so it's a bit uncomfortable.
