Got Monster Hunter World last Thursday and put an obscene amount of time into it so far.

 

About 30 hours so far...

 

Soloing everything (no ps+) and up to the Coral Highlands.

 

Currently farming Anjanath for weapons and a charm, and managed to get 4 plates (7% drop rate each)

 

Insect Glave is pretty cool, it's the only weapon I'm using.

Loving Monster Hunter at the minute, reached the High Rank side of it and currently struggling with the Pink Rathian quest so need to farm for better gear. Currently working towards an expedition build I found online to maximise gathering items/minerals.

Me too, Oldrim Legendary on xbox 360.

 

Just doing a Shield Maiden - Imperial Dawnguard playthough, I like it better than stealth archery. More in your face. But only level 19 at the mo. Our lass hasn't seen me for days lol.

 

I so want to get Legendary on PC so that I can look into the modding aspect of it, but bork at the prices (money is v tight, plus my rig hasn't been updated in ages).

Won an eBay transaction for it, got the code emailed, butt turned out it was in use. Got a refund (only £4.70 so not too bad) but cried cause I didn't get it.

Also in the market for a cheap but capable graphics card for it. Bah, I hate money lol.

 

Anyone got a Skyrim Legendary Steam Code they not used (or Special Edition) that is sitting and doing nothing? Could donate a few pennies :-)

Also a Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher? - for cheap?

bought far cry 5 on my xbox (not started it yet as wasnt unlocked till midnight and i cba before work at least in what i assume will be tutorials/world building its not so bad in games knocking out a quick mission etc when youre used to it)

 

also was playing fire emblem radiant dawn last night (im ;laying alongside gamexplains streams as Derrick there plays similar to how i do so freeing me up to try a different approach and oh boy my dawn brigade squad has got rng screwed 1st attempt literally only 1 unit i had could damage the enemy (and the goal for that level was kill 36 enemy) and the rest were being killed in about 1 hit so had to use all my bonus xp just to make them usable lol. on the plus side i know have a few units yho can dish it out and take it as well as just jill who just annihilated everything she came across lol

well started far cry 5 its ok but im not sure about the shooting mechanics either im using weapons i dont get on with or something (its better once i found a scoped rifle but its less fun than ghost recon wildlands so far (granted in ~3 hours in) hopefully i can find some different weapons / hold more as id like to give the bow a try but choice early on between an lmg and a bow i decided lmg was better. plus sides ive got a dog now and im working towards cheeseburger the bear lol (killed 3 bears boy they take a few (read lots) of shots last one was in a cave so i just lobbed in a stick of dynamite but i suggest you only use that as a last resort as the loot you get from it is worth a lot less lol

Judging from the bow in Farcry 3 & 4 - Bow.... always bow. It allows you to stealth wipe an entire outpost easily (as long as you take them all out in the right order) until heavies start appearing.

never played a far cry game before so i decided id probably have more use for rapid fire than stealth at least early on(and i wouldnt of liked to try and kill 3 bears with a pistol and a bow lol took enough with my sniper). atm though my options are if i find a bow swap it for my sniper and thats not going to happen lol im hoping i can carry more weapons as i progress id swap my pistol for a bow or even my shovel/oar/pipe but i cant lol.

Just finished Okami, which was generally enjoyable - though I felt the dialogue sections went on for far too long and Issun's attitude was way too leery. Very pretty, though.

Yeah, Issun's a lawsuit in waiting. I played the whole game muted, for 'domestic' reasons, so missed aome of the ambience (but avoided the squeaking of the dialogue). What a game though. Took me loooong time to finish!

gone back to playing persona 5 and trying to platinum it. got past futabas palace now into august several social links maxed out or nearly maxed out and the star thing complete

 

after that i bough the 1st xenoblade chronicles for my wiiu

 

and this morning i bought a ps vita to play persona 4 golden on (and so i can use my ps4 in bed lol)

The home run is actually quite easy - just save before you try and you can do the trial and error thing without wasting any time.

Really fun little coach coop game. It's mandatory two player but you only need to buy one copy of the game (even for online) and it's split screen regardless if you play coach coop or online (so you see both perspectives).

 

I played it through with my brother and really enjoyed it. It forces you to talk to each other and work together to complete everything from fishing, repairing a car to escaping from the police.

 

Plus it's only £20!

worth pointing out that only 1 person needs to buy it as well the other person can download a "demo" i believe they just wont get achievements/trophies

 

got my vita yesterday and being able to stream my ps4 to that is a damned handy feature so its much easier to play p5 while watching other stuff lol just got to learn where not to put my hands on the back keep catching l2/r2 on the touchpad

Thanks to @Bedders for sorting me out a lovely beast of a graphics card a few weeks ago.

Only problem is, my PSU doesn't meet it's demands, typical, haha.

 

So, anyone selling a 600W PSU (or more) with a min of 2x PCIE 6+2 pins?

got my first new achievement in persona 5 in about a year by taking down a boss in mementos. i did cheese it attacked it and then ran away till it was despaired and then just boosted defense/reduced offence until it died lol but it took me from level 45 to 54 in 1 go lol. so now im a tad overlevelled but still got one shot killed this morning in an annoying part as id jsut gone through a dark maze and haddntt got to the next save spot grrr

 

i also think the fishing / baseball trophies might be easier now as theres books for them it helped a bit with the fishing at least

You might already be aware, but Skyrim: SE is having a free weekend on Steam this weekend and it's 50% off, making it £15.

 

I'm still enjoying every minute of exploring again, and I would play it every free minute I have if I could. My mates have other ideas, though... We had a very good Easter weekend playing PUBG, and we managed to triple our chicken dinner count (we're up to 3 wins now...). More recently, we've been trying to re-discover other multiplayer games, like Killing Floor 2 and The Division.

 

KF2 has some awful server matchmaking mechanics which we haven't quite been able to work out yet, and there's no option to run a listen server, which would be perfect for us...

 

The Division has had a recent update which has revamped a lot of stuff, but we didn't see any more missions. Perhaps we haven't looked hard enough. It was still fun to roam the streets and shoot things, though, and it was nice to see that I could increase some graphics settings since the last time I played. It's an incredibly detailed game!
