I am so close to finally finishing the story line of Final Fantasy X I can taste it.

It has been a long 14 years on stopping and starting the game and losing saves, changing consoles the lot but I am almost there

I helped. You could have finished this 14 years ago if you knew me. [emoji14]

Getting close to finishing Dad of War.

Really want to punch the kid, atm... He's turned into a right wotsit.

OK now I feel a bit like a dur dur missing that.

You did help @X-13 I had it the other night where I was close to saving, after a boss battle and the PS4 just decided to completely power off and reboot, was not cool

Started Dragon Quest Heroes.

Basically it's Dragon Quest meets Dynasty Warriors - so large skirmishes with large numbers of monsters against your party of 4... With some brilliant accents.

put a few more hours into the first xenoblade chronicles game. its very different from 2 and im just not enjoying it as much (as you can tell by playtime in 2 weeks or so ive racked up 15 hours id probably racked up 40 in 2 in the same time) its not that its bad or even the graphics (being a wii game they arnt great) it just seems to be missing something and the story hasnt grabbed me. i suspect this one might make it into my pile of unfinished/abandoned games and i will start persona 4 on my vita instead which was one of the 2 reasons i bought a vita (the other was remote play so i could play p5 without getting out of bed lol)

though im open to suggestions for good vita games theres supposed to be a decent jrpg library on it

Just finished Bayonetta. Not bad, but it's not going to win any awards for political correctness. I felt that there were too many cut scenes without any player interaction between them, and I kept getting caught out by expecting a clear delineation between a cut scene and the "game" parts.

Been playing Dead Island which has been quite fun - it's nice to have to spend your time listening for zombies and trying to avoid fight. However, I'm a bit put off by the way that stomping on their backs seems to be the most efficient way to kill them (saves weapon degradation) and more so the way that nearly all the females in the game are wearing skimpy bikinis.

Started playing Dark Souls Remastered on the PS4 pro, at last it runs at a steady framerate!! I used to play it on the Xbox 360, never finished it as this game can be brutal!!

Hopefully they will release Demon Souls in the near future.

I've started playing Demons souls on the PS3, it's the only souls game I haven't completed. I'm hoping for it to be remastered and ported to PC though!

haven't bought Dark souls remastered, apparently it doesn't work on monitors that go above 60hz refresh and both of mine are 144...

edit - and it apparently has tonnes of hackers on PC

Anyone excited for Fallout 76? What do we think it's going to be about!?

I love Fallout, but I think I'll wait until some more details hit before getting excited! It's definitely going to be something different to the usual formula. I'm not really keen on the concept of multiplayer Fallout, but I'll keep an open mind for now...

The idea of it being 25 years after the bombs fell is very interesting, though. It'll be the earliest post-war Fallout experience. And Vault 76 has been mentioned in previous Fallouts as a control vault, where no experiments took place and was set to re-open 20 years from sealing. So it'll be a new thing to see a normal Vault!

Basically my thoughts. Leaks so far suggest a huge departure from the usual game genre/mechanics.. Hopefully E3 will confirm one way or the other.

My biggest concern is how will VATS work?

Depends. If it's multiplayer co-op, probably the same way it worked in FO4, just enters a slowed-down 'bullet-time' for all players.

If it's PvP, probably a +Accuracy self-buff for about 3-4s.

I saw a report that VATS is real time for Fallout 76.

In other news, in my quest to play through all of the Halo campaigns again on Heroic difficulty now I have Halo: Master Chief Collection, I've just finished Halo: CE (the first). It was more difficult than I remember and really shows its age in storytelling and level design. One level took me over 2 hours to complete (Assault on the Control Room), and later on in the game, you have to do that level in reverse... The tedium really set in. By the halfway point, I was ready to start Halo 2 already!

I almost immediately started playing Halo 2 after finishing Halo: CE and I'm really enjoying it. Everything Halo: CE did badly, Halo 2 gets right (at least so far!).
