a verbalisation of your thoughts?

Yes. Generic frustration-gibberish.

(Spelunky is a procedurally generated platformer with permadeath, Olmec is the final boss*, at 4-4.)

* of normal difficulty, which is still pretty bloomin' hard.

Eww... Not a fan of perma-death.

Though I was looking at Binding of Issac.

It's perma-death in the sense that you start back at the beginning again and lose your score and items. It's not permadeath like Diablo permadeath where you lose all your equipment and hours upon hours of invested time. Each 'life' consists of only a few minutes.. I'd say 15 at the most (if you're really good and go through hard-mode)

It's kinda like Binding of Isaac meets Super Meat Boy. But with a more cartoony theme.

YEEEEES! Who da man?!

549 deaths. 56 total hours. Finally beat Spelunky (on 'Normal' mode) with no shortcuts.

I am way happier with this achievement than I should be.

I recently decided that, in the run up to the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, I'd replay the Mass Effect series again (this time on PC instead of the Xbox). I finished the first installment at the weekend. I forgot how much I loved ME! The first one is great and there are some awesome moments, but now I'm playing ME2, I can't look back. ME2 has always been the best of the bunch, in my opinion.

On the first on PS3 atm. Great fun, though (as with other similar games) it's odd that time seems to stop elsewhere while you mess around.

well as square enix stuff is cheap atm ive bought in the last day or 2 (with no idea when i will play them as im still playing skyward sword (which may be my favourite 3d zelda even with motion controls)) final fantasies 6/9/10/10 2/15

completed zelda skyward sword and it is my favorite 3d zelda i just wished it had gotten the same hd remake treatment as twilight princess/windwaker as on a big tv you can tell the res is poor and draw distance is pretty low

oh well as i dont want to start another 40+ hour game before botw project cars is free so lets try that lol

Decided to play through ff7 again....

Just (re)bought - PSN have an FF event on and I couldn't resist the lower price. Came with a pretty funky theme, too.

Bought total War: Warhammer

I've spent about 4 days playing it (mostly as the dwarves but a bit as the empire). I just can't find it interesting - either I've picked the two races who have the dullest campaigns or perhaps I've just lost interest in this sort of game.

I rather enjoy it. It's a fresh take an a TW game and you get to have warhammer battles on a scale I only dreamed of as a kid!

However, the Empire campaign is pretty boring.

The Wood Elves on the other hand! Tons of fun!!

Picked up The Witcher 3 GOTY edition a couple of nights ago. After the 35GB download from GOG I finally got a chance to have a little play last night.

It's very good! Plays great, and it looks beautiful at 1440p with everything turned up! :)

Still unsure about this game, i found it too hard on normal (inb4 @X-13 says "git gud"), and too easy on the next difficulty down, so much so that it got boring on both difficulties!

I found blood and broken bones to be just about perfect for my abilities. I did fine the second expansion a bit of a slog rather than enjoyable and eventually gave up on it.
