Domo Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Moved onto the DLC areas, cleared out Poison-town of the Infinite poise bros, and finished that. End boss is super hard. [i'm counting that as another game beaten.] Now I'm going through Fire-land... and the end boss is super hard. The "optional" boss is even harder... I found Sinh to be fairly easy... but he spends way too much time in the air and when your running around with a sword he doesn't give you much chance to hit him... Also The fume knight in my opinion is harder than Alonne as Alonne is much easier to dodge :3 Though the run back if you die is really annoying. Alonne's sword is 10/10 though Edited February 1, 2016 by Domo
X-13 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I found Sin to be fairly easy... but he spends way too much time in the air and when your running around with a sword he doesn't give you much chance to hit him... I use an UltraGreatsword... so I can do a maximum of 2 hits while he's recovering [which is still, like, 900 damage] The thing is... I didn't realise that he destroys your weapon if you hit anywhere other than his face. Plus the neck-swipe is BS. You can't dodge OR block it... and his entire body becomes a hitbox. Also The fume knight in my opinion is harder than Alonne as Alonne is much easier to dodge :3 Though the run back if you die is really annoying. Alonne's sword is 10/10 though Alonne may be easier... but I want that sweet soduko cutscene. Fume is supposed to be pretty easy if you can abuse i-frames, but I think 60fps breaks them. I just have to remember to leave one of the idols alive somewhere, so I can get rid of all of the ones that heal him.
korifugi Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Finished Game of Thrones last night - standard fare for a Telltales Game, meaning a 10-12 hr interactive movie with minor changes due to choice. Still, good game though and in true Game of Thrones style - don't actually get attached to anyone.
mikeprice Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Does Chicken Invaders count - I have got as far as Earth!! But only once
X-13 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 What's that? Counting DLC for Dark Souls 2 as separate games? Considering it cleared when you get the crown? Damn straight, I do. Fume Knight = Dead Crown = Got Time it took for me to realise "King Hat" isn't the right term = Way too long Had to resort to removing all my armour because dodges took too much stamina with it on. Attempts were still in single digits [barely] as well. Trying this guy next...
ataylor Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm going to get started on Dark Souls 2 soon
X-13 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm going to get started on Dark Souls 2 soon Praise the Sun! \[+]/
ataylor Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 If I time it right, i'll be finish it just in time for Dark Souls 3
Tesla Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 If I time it right, i'll be finish it just in time for Dark Souls 3 probably should of started a year ago, then.
X-13 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 probably should of started a year ago, then. My current playtime of DS2 is about 35 hours. All I have left is kicking Alonne's butt and clearing Frozen Eleum Loyce. Then going to poke Darklurker... possibly. I can't remember where the last Pilgrims of Dark hoobajoob is. It's definately possible to clear it before DS3. [Even though I'm waiting for the complete version.]
korifugi Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Finished the storyline to Killzone: Shadowfall - a bit disappointed to be honest. Pulled down Persona 4 Arena Ultimax from PSN+, brilliant polished 2D fighting game - from the makers of Guilty Gear & Blazblue, but with Persona 4 characters.
GuyJD Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Bought American Truck Simulator over the weekend, already spent way too much time on it.
thimon Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I'm still trying to get Sony to unban my PSN account, so haven't been on a game in quite a while!

Boredguy Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Bought American Truck Simulator this weekend. Looking forward to some hauling around the US! Just remember it's only 2 states at the moment, and cruse control is your friend if you don't want the $1000 speeding fines
Garacesh Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Picked up Elite: Dangerous for a tenner in the sale, just the base game, no Horizons. Haven't given it a try yet, though.
mikeyd101 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 My brother picked up "The Witness", its a indie puzzler by the same guy that done braid. I played it through shared family thing on steam, and i'm pretty hooked at the moment. It has very simple rules draw a uninterrupted line from start to finish. Then puzzle by puzzle they get more and more complex adding different rules/symbols, you have to kind of learn the language of the puzzles. It's all set on an island so there's a lot of exploration to find the areas and puzzles. I think its a good game to chill out with although some of the puzzles have me stuck. I've solved about 70 odd puzzles, and my brother has done around 300, I think there is around 600+ puzzles on the island to solve, definitely worth checking out if your into puzzle games, tho the $40 price tag might be worth waiting for it to go in the sales.
GuyJD Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Just remember it's only 2 states at the moment, and cruse control is your friend if you don't want the $1000 speeding fines and @localzuk keep an eye on your speed going down hill, the cruise control doesn't slow you down, I've fallen victim to that twice already and I'm only level 4, the police are savage, 3 mph over $1000 fine
CHR1S Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Downloaded Hearthstone, nice little freebie, battlenet is blocked here so can only play at home (not on my dinner on 4G damn you EE)
LiamH Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) Been playing HELLDIVERS. Its on sale at the moment (steam for PC), from the makers of Magika and its fun to play co-op. Edited February 10, 2016 by LiamH
