Novalee Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It's so snowy here - it's really beautiful actually. We had a late start though and still many staff haven't been able to get in. I do know that any computer problems today can be blamed on the snow though
Arreks Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 We had a brief blitz around 8AM in London but not nearly enough for schools to close!
MattDLEA Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I'm in, snow over night again but road and that are clear all melted again now. Thought the forums would be quiet with people been down at bett
rickjames Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 We had a brief blitz around 8AM in London but not nearly enough for schools to close! Whaaaat? Nothing here in Chelsea, or on my walk from SE11.
JRowley Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It was supposed to snow heavily last night here, but it didn't and now it's raining, so obviously we're open .
Novalee Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Oh is it BETT this week? I hadn't realised. Yes it's still snowing here too. Bit heavier than it was actually too.
3s-gtech Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 We were forecast several inches of snow. We had several flakes.
Hawkeyez Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It was supposed to snow heavily last night here, but it didn't and now it's raining, so obviously we're open . Local news told is the same (Nottingham), but alas nothing. Saying that, we would have still been open, and I wouldn't have any issue driving in (Subaru)
Boredguy Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 What is this snow people are talking about?? Only rain down here. Wasn't sure BETT was this week, I just assumed someone else had changed the edugeek theme to purple for another reason
fiza Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 We had a brief blitz around 8AM in London but not nearly enough for schools to close! Rain here earlier but no snow. Where in London was there snow?
LeMarchand Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 South Coast - no snow + not allowed out of the cupboard for such frivolities as BETT, so I'm here.
hardtailstar Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Only flurrys of snow in the depths of Kent, not enough to lay or cause havoc.
DalekSec Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Had no snow at all this year so far in dooorrrseeetttttt
Joanne Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 My window... it's fair coming down... but you can't tell.
JRowley Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Local news told is the same (Nottingham), but alas nothing. Saying that, we would have still been open, and I wouldn't have any issue driving in (Subaru) We are at the foot of the pennines so it's a 50/50 really if it snows heavily, depends how many staff can get in, and the state of the site.
BKGarry Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 @hardtailstar there hasn't been a flake in in NW Kent at all. Some rain this morning, that's it. :-)
hardtailstar Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 @BKGarry im down in Ashford, We had a large flurry yesterday and a small one today.
CAM Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Nothing in Surrey! Not even ice on my windscreen, straight in the car and straight off the drive.
nyiss Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Not a sausage here but I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way
