Took loads of pictures on my recent tour of the Czech Republic, I have only gone through the ones taken at the Moto GP so far. Here are a few of my favourites:

I like the middle one, probably crop it a bit, cut out top and right, and replace the audience with grass cloning

First and third were with a Tamron SP 60-300mm F/3.8-5.4 with an SP 2x tele-converter, second and last were with a Tamron 80-210mm F/3.8-4, ideally I wouldn't have used the 2x for those shots as you lose some quality, but I was taking pictures as they came out of Graham Hill bend at the same time (in the full album), it's too much of a faff to keep taking on and removing the tele-converter!

I went over to the Isle of Wight last week and managed to go out with the camera once or twice

 

Really like this one. It was about 11pm and was pretty remote so very dark. Used a long exposure and lit the boat with a torch i had handy. Was still a bit underexposed (even with 30 second shutter) so had to pull a fair amount of detail in post (hence the almost HDR look).

This was just down the road from the above. The town was giving off loads of light so nice exposure etc.

This is Sandown beach. I think it was about 7pm, the sun was just doing behind the hills etc. Used a ND1000 filter (10 stop filter) to get a 30 second exposure. Wanted some softness in the background so went with a medium aperture rather than super narrow.

More of a 'big sky' pic this. It's on Hesketh Out Marsh RSPB reserve on the banks of the Ribble Estury and now the nights are drawing in is amazing for astronomy with an uninterupted 360 horion to horizon view thanks to the elevated flood defences you walk on and very little light pollution.

I do indeed.

 

It's a Yongnuo Yn360

 

For the money, it's actually a really nice piece of kit. It's relatively light and super bright, blindingly bright! You can use 5500k light or 3500k light (less white more yellow) or a mixture of the two. And you have Red, Blue or Green or a combination of all three (if you've got an iphone you can use an app with a colour swatch which makes it dead easy to create pretty much any colour you like). You do have to buy the batteries separately but they're not too pricey, i got two with a charger for £17.

 

When i first started using it i was getting loads of light spilling onto my feet etc so i made a 'barn door' style light shield out of black cardboard which does the job nicely.
