We will not be installing any Smartboards of any kind probably some non Android based touch displays, with Smart Notebook software installed on the Windows PC should someone want to use it. Looking at the Smart website it says: Free with your SMART Board SMART Notebook Award-winning desktop software for creating engaging learning experiences with your SMART Board® – no subscription required. So does mean that Smart Notebook 23 is completely free and does not require any license, email activation of any sort? Having said that I've just installed it on my laptop and it fails to even open so that's not a good start for it. tia

Really tricky - if you go down a Teams room, then your stuck with Teams and any other vc platform integration zoom, etc... using the cameras/mics is hard/expensive - involves multiple controls - confusing for customers. Or for an 'open' system to use with whatever VC browser platform you want to use, a good spec usb PTZ camera and separate mics and a dsp feeding into the PC via usb audio route, with ceiling speakers but then you'd be looking at 4k plus install/configuration. Another vote for the Poly Studio USB with the additional mic, we've installed around 25 of these so far with great success, just make sure firmware is up to date (issue last year whereby many bricked themselves and had to be rma'd) Easy to install great mic pickup, camera is very good and audio is loud and clear. You can pretty much forget ip/h323 based vc these days, thank goodness.

Morning Yesterday I had my pc on, connected via remote access, went to put kids to bed, came back and couldn't connect, noticed pc was turned off, and it will not turn back on again. When I opened the case the motherboard led was on, tried power button and the cpu fan looked like it wanted to spin but didn't. I've removed everything - gpu, hard drives, replaced cmos battery and tried again - this time both the psu fan and cpu cooler fan maybe did 1 rotation then again nothing. I've ordered another PSU as I think this maybe the issue but want to check here first just in case. Its a rather old setup from 2012/13 (used as a htpc) so really could be any part has gone (ASUS M5A78L-M MB, AMD Phenom II X4 960T, Asus eah5450 gpu) Thanks Edit - Did a corsair PSU test with a paper clip and PSU seems to be fine, looking at motherboard or CPU now
